lol i cant draw in photoshop. its hard. anyway it was meant to be a brake light (round = skline signature) oversized to take up part of the boot. sort of ferrari enzo kind of thing. but i suck at using that pencil in photoshop. maybe i should remove it. and keep it normal.

OK extractors were checked ( i thought they wree called front pipes BLEH) had a 5c sized hole in it. That was the cause of the extremely loud noise, and power loss and me having to ease up on the gas in order to change gears. didnt end up getting them replaced even though i know i should (theyre rusted really bad). What my uncle decided to do was weld some steel around the thing and seal it up. Works a whole lot better. From all the F-words and cursing i heard from my uncle it was a tedious process (probably because we only had 1 jack). Over heated-Broken bolts replaced etc etc. Air Filter was cleaned wid a air compressor gun, and some degeaser. 100% power is back. and i am a happy man again.

i asked my bro, and he sourced extractors from his friend, and its costing me $140. i havent seen them yet, but my bro has sent them to my uncles house (i hope) and they should be in by this morning.

yeah i made an enquiry to Hyper Tech AS and they told me NA's dont have front pipes "what you would be looking for are extractors." do you know if the stock rb20de had 1 piece or 2. because what my uncle took out (the blown pipe) was pretty much just a pipe ill take a picture when i can. but the car is at his place. so what i was thinking... from the block to the tip, its BLock > Extractors > front pipe > Cat > muffler > tip.? so yeah. if anyone can take a picture of extractors for me that would be great too.

Question: Does the stock front pipe fit the r32 rb20 NA? if so ill probably take them, if you can arrange freight.

i dont have the stock box. i got sum dodgy small pod noname. so id prefer another pod. what model is your apexi pod. and how much did it set you back.

yep. looking for a replacement right now. i wanted to do that but I didnt use an air compressor coz i didnt have one and couldnt get one at the time. i decided i'd clean it when i got up on sunday (at 12:30pm :headspin: ) so no chance at goin to autobarn to get the air compressor. Anyway. can you recommend an air filter. im after one soon. id prefer to have one i wouldnt have to maintain but anything will do really, coz it seems like anything would give me better performance Ta!

btw: funky. this is off topic but can you recommend an air filter for my rb20de. i found out mine is probably the bottom of the line cheapo no brand. i think i saw it at autobarn. So yeah looking for a replacement. anythings probably better than the one i hace now.

ok turns out. when my uncle put the plugs back in, 1 of them got cracked so theres the culprit to the misfire. currently have NGK BCPR6ES plugs gapped to 1.1 and working. yeah i decided to clean out the air filter with (dont laugh) a tooth brush id say from my noobie analytical brain, i gained about 70% of the power back. exhaust is still loud as a mofo, seems loose and havent been able to get it checked yet so yeah. till then.

i bought the NGK BCPR6ES copper ones. gapped them and theyre working fine right now. funky; still would like to know the code for your set. thanks.

thanks Greg. will do that prolli tomorrow havent managed to check the cat yet tho. my engine is beginning to misfire since my uncle checked the engine. i kknow i gotta change the spark plugs coz they're pretty blackish. think maybe theyre the cause.

sorry if this is already posted somewhere else. i ran a search and couldnt find anything. just wondering if the rb20de uses the same spark plugs a rb20det. i've only been able to find right plugs for the det, so a simple yes or no will be very useful. Thanks for your time.
