    Cracked Head :(

    My mechanic says its the head, and he has bled it a quite few times.

    About a year ago my car over heated due to the thermostat playing up and it split my radiator, I have replaced the thermostat and radiator but ever since the car would sometime over heat a little ( i didn't drive much had a company car at the time) but now I am driving it all the time it is getting much worse.

    So I am assuming that when it overheated the first time the head cracked....

    How much would you like for the head? send me a pm if you like, I am going to need 2 because we don't know which head is cracked.

    If anyone needs the CVT oil, let me know because I'm importing some myself and I'll just add yours into my shipment. You have make a decision and pay by Monday at the latest as the shipment leaves soon and I don't want to miss the boat so to speak.

    Radiator Fan Clutch

    Hi guys,

    wanted to see if someone can help me.

    My car as been overheating and i took it to my Mechanic. He showed me that the Radiator fan is spinning slow (can stop it with his hand) and is a bit loose.

    He told me the clutch in the Radiator fan is no good and needs to be replaced.

    Dose anyone know if this would be the same as the Clutch in the 350z or Maxima?

    and has anyone else had this problem??

    Hi guys,

    Dose anyone know anyone who will do LPG conversion on the Skyline? or has anyone done one??

    I called 5 places in Sydney and no one would touch it, expect for 1 guy and he said the cost would bee approx $5000.

    The way petrol price's are going i think it may be the way to go.

    What do you guys think????

    Moving Nav Dvd Unit

    Hi guys,

    I wanted to know where are the AV inputs in the car located, is there one on the back of the BOSE unit (i have the premium pack, no camera).

    What i am going to do is just run the AV leads to my mobile phone so i can plug it into the system.

    I have the Nokia N95 8gb, i think it a good solution for my self without any extra cost. So far I have 350 songs, FM Radio, some movies and GPS on the phone so it coveres what i need.

    So where is the best location to connect the phone?

    Hey guys, i got this reply from Ryda.com.au if its any help tp any one.

    Hi Angelo

    Most factory vehicles have there own factory design plugs and configuration, most aftermarket brands like Kenwood you can only use there head units to run there own GPS Nav units.

    There is a brand that has a regular RCA Video out from the GPS Nav to plug into a unit with RCA Video. The GPS Brand is a Nesa model NAV-12 unit with remote control and GPS antenna that has 2D 3D and birds eye viewing Normally priced at $999.00 our price is $699.00 plus freight if need of $17.95.

    Now probably the original screen has no RCA video out so this wont work, if the unit can be taken out and taken to aftermarket electronics wiz he could ad an Video out of you would need to check first if they will do this there is one Company that does this to BMW Mercedes and others he is based in Sydney and the name is Nam Electronic Services in Marrickville Sydney PH: 0295504144 in the name of Nam Nguyen you could ask him if its possible.

    The first question is the aux input is this just audio which is a good start all we need is a RCA video input feed out as well.

    Need to speak to a guy called Kwong.

    I havn't called him yet, because i wanted to see if there was a DVD instead of spending the money on Having the system done.

    But i do know its not $1400 like i was told before its approx $2200.

    I know that a new DVD player is installed

    and a GPS Is installed in the boot and wired to the existing display.

    But once again this is second hand info

    So speak to Kwong to confirm it.
