  1. just wondering if i can put 100 watt head light globes instead of the standard 55 watt ones in my 93 r32 gtst mspec. i have heard something about changing the relay. i have also heard that is is not a good idea it can damage the projector. any info on this would be great i dont want to damage anything, cheers jonno.
  2. I look under the hoodie the other day and noticed this snapped wire. now it is obviously an earth wire as it is connected to the car body. does it go to my turbo where i have undicated. does anyone know where it connects or if i am meant to connect it. cheers jp
  3. alright got new t-belt, new idler and tensioner pulleys, new tensioner spring, got the washer thing on the crannk, and t-belt is still stepping off. i could have put tensioner spring in wrong maybe. can anyone help. cheers jonno
  4. what i did was unbolt the whole thing from the engine block so i didn't just take off the cas i took the other thing off behind it aswell. there was no offset key so it just bolted straight off, not marking anything to fix my problem i had to bring engine to tdc and move the cas 1 tooth at a time and start the car and repeat. took a few turns but worked incredably well. jp
  5. i recently changed the water pump and now the timing belt is stepping off. i dont think it is the tension as i have had it both tight and not so tight and it still steps off. i also cleaned the idler pulley wd40 which made it not smooth like it ate all the grease away. its like when ya spray ya skateboard bearings with wd40 it make them run faster but they get twice as loud and rough like you can feel every grain off dirt in there. could it also be a streched timing belt? is there any way to clean and/or grease my idler pulley bearing or replace the bearings. any help would be much appreciated. cheers jonno
  6. i alligned all the marks on the timing belt correctally and as for the CAS i just unbolted it and bolted it straight back on again. jp
  7. just put a water pump in and now the car wont start. i figure its the timing. i got a timing gun but dont know how to use it on the electronic ignition or how to adjust the timing either. can anyone help. cheers jp.
  8. yeah got it off. i spayed it with some wd40 and pryed it off with 2 screwdrivers sweet as. thanx for the help, jp
  9. i am half way through thanx to the guide http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...em-t169471.html. great guide i am having trouble Removing keyed pressed metal belt guide from crankshaft (a.k.a crank timing pully plate, i think) on me rb20det. i have the balancer off now what do i do to get that thing or thats in front of the belt??? any help would be great cheers. jp
