  2. am looking at a minor brake upgrade and trying to decide weather to got the UAS 343MM BIG BRAKE KIT FOR NISSAN SKYLINE GTR or the STAGE 1 BRAKE UPGRADE KIT FOR SKYLINE R32 GTR. anyone using either?? just wondering will they both work with standard R32 GTR caliper and will they both fit under a 17" rim cheers

  5. ok guys im sure this is a bit of a newbie question, but if your car is tuned overly rich, or very lean wat exactly happens, i think i understand the concept but i jus want to know the effects, "please dont say LEAN means BANG" i understand that but wondering how a vehicle preforms under these circumstances. i.e. Rich, if car is tuned rich on boost as it comes on it will over fuel and flood the motor causing it to loose power and lots of black smoke? Lean, if the car is tuned lean on boost, when it comes on it will go great but beggin to ping, and then more than likely melt pistons. please let me know if this is correct. cheers
  6. ok awsome thanks for the quick replyies guys and clearing that up, first jus with that HKS reg i thought that was bolt on standard rail only?? ok well i think i have this sorted now, an yeah sorry to leave out details its jus i was so caught up in trying to work it out. ok so tell me what you thnk of this. and jus to fill in the blanks i have a 040 in tank pump and twin 044 ext that mount to a custom fab surge tank. im jus running some chinese single trying to go budget build. an i know fuel is the most important factor so want this to actually be ok. ok so here goes 040 pumps fuel from tank into surge tank. 2X 044s pump fuel SEPERATLY to individual filters and run one in left side of rail and one in right side. run one line from middle of rail to inlet on regulator. then outlet reg to surge tank. and breather from surge tank back into fuel tank. please tell me this is correct and now wat reg to use??
  7. hi guys jus a quick question, i have bought a HKS twin entry fuel rail for RB26, and want to put it on my car im jus a lil grey on the way to set it up i also want to put a fuel reg on but am not too sure what to get, was thinking malpasi high rate rising rate reg, will this work? ok so jus a little help would be greatly appreciated. my main concern is this i was thinking of running the outlet of the reg into the fuel filter and then running a line with a T-piece it into either end of the rail. will this be correct? will it be ok to run the reg before the filter?? this wont effect the pressure or the regulator will it. thanks guys any help would be great
  8. jus a quick question, was wondering if anyone could get a chance and jus go out and if you own a 32 GTR, look at your brake master 9 i think thats what it is, the part that bolts on to the brake booster) and under the fluid bottle and between the two fluid lines there is a whole, it seems mine is slowly drizzling brake fluid. Just wondering if there should be a grub screw or some sort of bolt in there. cheers
  9. ok guys here goes, ive read all the posts and looked at all the pictures, but seriously need to know how difficult this is going to be? ive got a hoist and some tools, i feel that i may need to go grad some miscilaneous tools but honestly how hard is it going to be to change the gear box in my 32 gtr. ive had a look and my main concern is the 2 bolts on top of the box below the head but previous posts tell me that once the back of the box is dropped the motor will tilt back enough to get an extention in there and remove them, the only problem i have with this is, will i need to remove all the cooler piping and stuff or will it be ok?? any tips or hints? thanks heaps "changing box"

  11. ok guys i have read many earlier posts about what gearboxes ppl should get and i still feel that we all are in different circumstances so input from others on this question would be great thank you. so 2 days ago i smahed 3rd gear to pieces and am now looking at a new box, its a 32 GTR an has a giken triple plate and runs a 51R spl, so it makes a lil power (when it comes on) anyway the car will be used for very little track work but will be driven long distances quit a bit i.e. freeways sitting on 100kmh. so the question i ask is, will a FULL ppg dog box be just as strong as a 1st-4th dog with 5th standard? cause ill be cruising in 5th alot of the time and not sure if i want to have that winding all the time. or could a heli cut box be jus as good, im NOT looking for the extra .5 of a sec on the track more just the strength in the box for when i do drive it. one more thing i am also considering the os giken gear sets as well. if any one has different opiniouns or suggestions please feel free to throw them this way cheers.
  12. umm it needs to be wired inn, and as far as knock control, i am not 100% sure i was under the impression that autronic didnt actually run a knock control, but if you are interested i can find out 100% for you tommorrow.

  17. hi guys im new to the forum but currently building an rb26, and was wondering if anyone could give me any information on the Tomei lifters (buckets)? i am using cams with more than 10.25 lift and noticed that on the tomei website it says "Corresponding to the TOMEI camshaft of more than 10.25mm lift" Does this mean that it is %100 per cent nessasary to use these lifters(buckets) with big cam shafts? im not looking for specs i just wanna know if anyone is using standard lifters, (buckets) with big cams? cheers
