  1. I personally like the Trust, but for god's sake, do the parker light job for indicators, they look shocking anywhere else...jus my 2 bobs worth.
  2. I was looking around here a few nights ago and found pics of a red S1 R33 with final konnexion kit on it...I have an S2 but I want that kit! Teamed up with a Trust from bar I recon that would look "pork sword"! Has anyone seen an S2 with this kit before? I have heard people talk about it, but never seen pics. If so please post them, it may put an end to many hours of net surfing. Cheers! (Trust front bar+final konnexion sides and rear+drift wing on series 2) P.S: Photoshoppers welcome!
  3. Sounds like you have found your problem BlueGTS, thats exactly what mine was doing. I'd be keen to know why they were remanufactured in the 1st place, and if so how they came to be in our cars.....jus so I can find the guy that did it and choke him!
  4. I have found with my girlfriends 32 that the wastegate actuator rod had developed some movement, and flogged out the holes at each end. This may cause your boost holding issues? Her symptoms were a lil different to yours. I slightly bent the rod to take up the slack and problem solved....now she almost keeps up with me!

Are 2nd hand jap import wheels an option to you? a set of rims, and tyres of your choice can become a cheap package, you may even need to spend a lil time on them polishing and painting, but this also gives you the oppotunity to own something no one else has and then customise colour to suit you....just a thought. I am looking around at Jap wreckers atm looking for the same thing. P.S: if anyone knows of a good jap import wrecker/importer selling 2nd hand rims in SA or VIC please post up! Cheers!
  6. For all intents and purposes it looks like a genuine nissan sticker, is there anyway of identifying what has been changed, if anything, maybe with a scan tool?? Also I have disconnected my VCT, and now have what feels to be a much more linear torque curve...are there any down sides to doing this as I understand that Nissan wouldnt have put it there for no reason.
  7. Hey Guys, get this! I have had my 2nd 33 for about 8 months now and no amount of replacing sensors or tweeking things on the dyno would make it run smoothly. It has the usual 200rwkW mods, full exhaust, boost controller, fmic, pod, etc...but I could not for the life of me make out why it would surge, idle eratically and generally run like a pig. That is until I decided to swap ECU's wih my house mate with an identical car. As I removed my ECU I noticed a sticker on the side of it that read "Nissan Genuine Remanufactured" What the f#*K??? Am I to believe that this is a 2nd hand computer repaired or maybe a warranty job?? Anyone ever heard of such a thing? BTW with the new ECU my car performs brilliantly.....just sucks that my mate wants his ECU back...
