I would love to get separate temp readings from both inside the engine bay and inside the heat shield to see what the difference is.
Either way, it looks funky

You haven't mentioned with your current set up a front mount intercooler (if you have I'm blind) anywayz, if you haven't a front mount, I would go that before anything else.

yer they are 19 inch rims, still undecided on how i like them on the car, i dont hate nor love the look
keen to try some R34 gtr rims
Yeah you cant go wrong with a set of R34GTR rims (not that I'm biased in any way)
As others have said, the rims you've currently got really do look good. Not as good a R34GTR rims though only joking.
If only the R34GTR rims came in 20" variety ....

Hey mate.
Is it a big job pulling the intake plenum out for painting?
Looks great mate. Looks angry hehe.
Yeah it is a big job mate. So big infact I took the mechanics advice and didn't do it
I just took it real easy and sprayed it whilst it was on.
If that isn't your thing and you can also buy a carbon fiber cover for the RB26 plenum.

Things are coming along great
Got the DBA slotted and cross drilled discs on.
Also a Greddy radiator fitted and finished up spraying the rest of the engine.
Monday we'll fit the Power FC, put in the R33GTR seats, 7" touch screen stereo unit, tidy up everything and it should be ready for the road (fingers crossed)
There's more to do, but I have to wait for a container from Japan to arrive before I start on the next phase.
Cheers.

To break off topic, just a quick question ....are they R34GTR seats ?
If so, how low do you sit, as compared to the original seating?
Cheers.

Got the 260RS in the workshop ATM. Finally rego'd and road legal. Now the fun begins
Had a set of Tomei cams and cam gears installed yesterday. Also sprayed the engine with black wrinkle paint. Today a set of gold DBA slotted and cross drilled discs will go on (will take a pic when its completed) then the power FC and a bunch of other stuff.
Will post work as its done, sort of a build archive for anyone who's interested.
Cheers.
Edit: oops there's also a new water pump and radiator, though you can just see the new water pump in the pic.

.flac is a good compression for music files. I have quite a lot of music done in this format and the sound quality is acceptable.

I got the boots for my 260RS done in Alcantara leather. If I could afford it, I'd get the door trim done in it too.
The idea with the red LED eyes for the skulls sounds like fun, if your after that type of look.

What about the N1 version?
Maybe they have the steel fins and shafts?

It was nice to meet you mate
Can recommend this seller to anyone - items as advertised and a pleasant transaction.
Cheers.

Its a great pic, all it really lacks is some good old fashioned GTR toughness.
Is there a front image?

Nice car. Did it come with the roof rails already removed? Bog standard they are not really quick but with the poncams and a PFC I reckon you should see around 240AWKW at least.
Yeah mate the roof rails were already removed when it was shipped.

I cant say much atm, get my 260RS rego'd next Monday (guess who's excited?)
I'm not expecting a hell of a lot, I own a R32GTR with 280kW @ all 4s, so I know the 260RS is'nt going to go like that beast does. But I am planning on selling the R32 and have the wagon as my everyday ride.
This is a whole new ballpark for me. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this thread and swapping info with other 260RS owners.
Thus far, as far as mods go, I've put on a set of R34 rims (actually they are in the garage, I'll put them on AFTER rego) but I had them on and took a few pics to get me by until its road legal.
A power FC has been purchased and a set of Tomei cams and cam gears. The engine is a N1 version as well as the turbo's. So I'm hoping for decent power just with cams and a tune. No idea what sort of figures I'll be looking at. Got a nice Trust front mount to go on, but other than that, I've been told the car has quite a bit of after market stuff already, like the HKS remote oil cooler and aftermarket suspension. Though once its on the hoist I'll know what brand they are.
Cheers.

Anyone recognise these Stagea headlights? Sorry about picture quality, I found these on some Japanese Stagea club site.
Maybe not everyones flavour, but I think they look the sexeh
-
Same. Was at Bunnings picking up some fencing when one of the guys in the wood yard said "nice wagon mate, I've never liked Volvo's, but that one looks alright"
-
Series 1 here DaveB, so I'm hoping its as simple as unclipping the emblem.
-
Thanks for the link SHIZNIT, I joined up and browsed, but only found the grill with the Stagea emblem on it. I'm beginning to wonder if maybe the grill I'm after is actually a mod?
Maybe they are taking the regular Stagea grill with the emblem and somehow cutting the emblem off?
It's proving to be quite a difficult piece to find. Yet I've seen this grill so many times looking at pictures of Stagea's online.
Is it a regular Stagea grill thats been modded or can you get them as is, like the picture I linked?

Picks jaw up from the floor ....
REALLY nice mate

The above is the Japanese site, that the Russian site got its info from.
Thanks for the original link southern_tango, I always wanted that information.

Thanks for the kind words guys. The last thing I needed was someone saying my new ride looked like crap.
RBPOWA
Abflug front bar? I honestly have no idea what the kit is. The rear window is tinted, but I think its an aftermarket tint.

Yes I love the mirrors , I've removed this today as its going to compliance sometime next week.

Yeah I think the no rails look is best for the 260

I had to choice of a series 2, but chose the series one. Just something about it, l find it more of an aggressive look.
The car came with an N1 engine and N1 turbo's. A really nice remote oil cooler, HKS exhaust, HKS cams and cam gears, Tien shocks, HKS Pods, HKS dump pipes - I think whoever owned it in Japan really liked HKS
Just about everything has been removed today for complaince. Once thats done and its rego'd, I've got a set of gold DBA slotted and crossdrilled disks to go on it and a bunch of other stuff I've had sitting in the garage waiting for its arrival. Cant wait to finally have it on the road.
Cheers.

I am also interested in one of these mats for my Stagea.
Does anyone have the link for them in Japan?
My Worst Nightmare!

Posted
I had a nightmare I came off a cliff at the Great Ocean Rd in the Stagea. The funny or strange thing is, as I'm airborne and quickly falling to the rocks below I was thinking to myself "geez I hope this car is well built" - kind of hoping the car will save me when I hit the ground ....
It did of coarse
