  1. So, I found my problem after jacking it up. The Y-pipe is dipping down from the way it has been mounted, and it's rubbing on the flex joints. So, there shall be a lot of yelling at people, and I'm taking it elsewhere to get the exhaust raised back up underneath the car. Sons of beetches.
  2. That's part of the problem. Not a clue what's in there now, it was lowered before I got it here to Australia. I'll have a closer look at it tonight and see what I can see.
  3. Hey mate, I have to jack it up and have a look, but I don't think it's at the muffler, but at the centre pipe (which is now a 3" pipe.) I doubt there'd be any play as to how it is mounted, nor many alternatives under there. So jacking it up is what I will have to do =( I will have to find another V35 and park it next to it, and see how much height I need to gain.
  4. Hi guys, I've just whacked a Nismo exhaust on my V35, and it sounds hotsauce. However, I used to scrape before....but now its even worse, and every time it happens I cry like a little girl with a scraped knee. When I bought the car, it had already been lowered. Does anyone have any stock springs for sale, by any chance? Or is there any other magic solution?
  5. I think 3/4 of the fun with GTA is the driving. What's it gonna be, "The white horses run faster, but the brown ones handle a bit better around corners?" The engine looks pretty nice though.
  6. I've heard that the Sheel V-Power is an AVERAGE of 98 octane, as opposed to a minimum?
  7. I'd go R31Nismoid's deal of box, that's dirt cheap for what it is. I just bought a dual core 2.93 (E7500) with 4 g of ram, 9800GT video card, 1tb hdd etc for about $700, and it seems to play my games quite nicely. I usually buy one of something like this per year, and retire the older box as some form of movie server, web server, etc.
  8. Same thing happened to me, but due to the online problems they were having on the Borderlands servers (characters stats being wiped etc) I kept a usb stick into mine and copied every time before I played online. I got the three beeps of death (it was my blue ray drive) and had to send it off. The hdd is locked to the main board, and they don't repair YOUR PS3, they send a refurb from China. And then if there's a disc still in it, you have to waitr to get it back too
  9. Isn't the release date for AUS in March? I've played all the other FF series from 4 onwards (Except 11, not a fan of mmorpg's.)
  10. Daaamn, mine was about $570 for an 03 coupe, and that was after doing alot of running around for it. (NRMA). Anything under about 28 years old its generally going to be higher though.
  11. I'm surprised at $2300 for the V35 coupe. And that was in Parramatta bro!!
  12. Heh, mine through GIO: $630. And my insurance is $2300.
  13. Hey guys, This is going to sound REALLY odd. But I had exactly the same thing, I'd lock my doors and my fuel cap door would pop out. My fix: I switched on the mirrors tucking in when the car is locked. It no longer pops. Freaky, eh?
