hey!, i gave my car a bit of shit around a corner today and i lost boost halfway around it??? now i get no boost at all! i no the turbo was on its way out (smoking and squeeling etc) could this be the intercooler piping? i tryed to look for leaks but didnt see anything or is the turbo just dead? mods: rb25, micro tec, 3 inch turbo bk,fimic, 040, ebc etc 10 psi cheers dylan

hey i got a r32 with rb25det in it (previously had 20det) was just wondering if any one knew if i have to take it over the pits to get it properly rego'd. or can i just get one of those change of vehical details forms ? its been professionaly converted with recipts also if i do have to go to the pits will the rest of the car have to be roadworthy? or just the engine cheers dylan

hey i got a rb25det in my r 32, but its only regod for the 20det. my question is dose it need to go over the pits or will i just have to fill out a change of details form to get it all legal. its all been profesionaly done with receipts etc. cheers dylan

just found invoice rb25motor and box: $3460 microtech lt10 ecu: $1320 hd organic clutch: $630 3 inch dump: $360 mufflers removed, micro tech wired in, box and motor install, clutch installed, removal of rb20det, dyno tuned: $ 900 pluss 667$ gst made 250hp at 13psi

heyy i got my 25conversion done at "sik em wrex racing" in mandurah cost like 7 grand all up, inc motor, gearbox, heavy duty clutch, old motor out and the 25 in. hope it helps

this is the 1st time iv seen a turbo out of a car and dont no the names of parts to well but ill type what i see lol, befor it says garret it says "ar.60" i have a badge with a bunch on serial numbers if it helps on the larger darker peice it says 22FO (SOMETIHNG) 84 AIR RESEARCH. sorry for my stupedness

hey when i bought my r32 rb25det i got a free turbo with it, it says "Garrett AirResearchT04" on the out side but was wondering if any one could help me determine the specs of it, and if its a decent upgrade to stock one. cheers dylan

allrite but i still have all power and no hickups in motor, only when i decel from boost i realy hope its the turbo, noticed its got a bit of a high pitch squeal and smoke dose smell bit like oil i rekon. cheers for the replys!

hey,i have a 32 gtst with an rb25, every time i slow down from boost i get white smoke that puffs out from the exhaust (fair bit) none on idle or anything only slowing down. from what i know its probly a blown oil seal on the turbo... correct? if so whats a rough price for new seals with labour? engine specs: standard rb25 turbo running 10 psi, 3 inch no cat, microtec, ebc, 040 fuely etc also i have a brand new garrett t04 sitting around, would it be better to fit this? i have boch 040 fuel pump but standurd injectors, once again would like a rough price from ur experiance. sorry to ramble on... cheers dylan

yer see usually i wouldnt mind it but its normal idle is like 1000 so when it drop just sound unhealthy as for bov doesnt even have 1 ey? haha getting one put in soon though, any idea on $$$

hey sorry dont know if this is the right place to be posting this query Just wondering if some 1 could help me here, my sr20det which runs fine and idles at about (1000-1100rpm,) seems to drop down every now and again while stopped to about 750rpm which i think is a litle low and like i usually just tap the gas and its bring it up but its a bit annoying now the guy i bought it off said some about the '_______ motor' and said it was like 65-100 for a new one, now i cant excatly remember the name starter or top or something like this, just wondering if any one new the name of the part or if im rong their diagnosis of the problem. cheers in advance
