  1. Hi All, Can anyone confirm for me what copper plugs I would use in a NON turbo stagea (RB25DE) Ive done searches and all I can find is references to plugs for turbos. Also is there any disadvantage to using coppers if I intend on changing within 10000kms and I guess the loom and coil pack removal procedure is the same for both engines apart from moving the top intake pipe? Thanks all in advance, Kenny

Hi There, sorry to drag up an old topic but is it hard to fit these? I have managed to secure (if I want) a set and given Im missing a drivers side and suffer the normal problems (window down water running in, in mornings and wind/driving rain leakages) I would like to grab them and fit them. The ones I can get have no clips and there seems to be nothing on the car itself. Is the mounting hardware if any common fitting clips or are they stagea specific? Thanks for any help you all can give Kenny
  3. Hi All, Finally decided to join after many months of lurking on the forums here. brought this stagea early this year from a local dealer after a couple of months searching. Its a bit rough around the edges, but thats part of what I liked about it. Its a car thats been driven, not tucked away. It would have to be one of the best all over cars I have owned, other cars being a Mini, a 1992 Q's Silvia, a 1994 supercharged levin with 11lb underdrive pulley and a toyota windom. The Stagea has exceeded all of them in one way or another. I have not done any modifications as yet apart from the pictured airfilter mod. Thats oiled unifilter foam stretched over the original paper filter housing (with the paper cut out) and the top half of the standard airbox cut off to allow it to seal. I was concened about heat sink but I have not noticed any problems as yet. After xmas I hope for a new exhust system, cat removed before proposed new emmision laws are introduced in january. Performance wise I will leave it like that until the engine dies and at that stage I will look at the RB25DET conversion. I entertained ideas recently about a hardish tuned SR20DET conversion but decided it may not be the best idea after I found myself laughing at the locally listed 2 litre stageas. Other things will most likely be a new aftermarket head unit, some decent component speakers and a 10" sub for the boot. This is first and foremost a family car so I have to be resonably picky about what i do with it in respects to usability. Thats my essay over, the pics are not that great, the other halfs pulsar pushed into the pics. Hope to get to know everyone better, Kenny
