    Hey Everyone.

    I need help in adjusting my equaliser and crossover settings with the Alpine Head Unit CDA-9887.

    I cant seem to get settings that im satisfied with.

    If anyone can forward me settings they use for Metal/Hardcore and seperate settings for Hip-Hop/Rap, it would be much appreciated.

    Im sick of f**king around with it

    Is there an available defect list under SA Legislation?

    There is so many stories of cops in SA being complete arseholes towards skyline owners, id love to have a list as would everyone else of what is defectable and what isnt.

    What is going on in this town? or is it my luck...lol

    I had my valve caps stolen- nice blue ones at marion car park in daylight ?also a nice door ding or ?same time

    (not a fotune to replace just the pricipal of it.)

    had my front bar hit, light but enough to put three grind marks all the way to base colour and bend my rego plate in a secure car park, parked away from everyone. wish assholes would learn how to drive/park

    my car sideswiped by the mech doing the service, right above the left rear tire, light crease , then he denied doing it even after i had washed the car a few hours before and didnt stop anywhere else except his shop so i know it was him, prick, i hate warranty services,also i think they hammered my clutch as well. car came back with clutch feeling funny like it was used for a thrashing on the test drive and spin marks on the tires? his word agaist mine....asshole

    then had my turbo stud broken by the ER car park pole, folded down on the ground at flinders med centre, good time to put in dump pipe or i would have been really pissed off.. cleared it once before no worries ? go figure , i was crawling and it nearly ripped my presilencer off.. i should have a go at them but im sure they'll just fob it off. and my car isnt that low really?

    then to ice the cake, i was putting petrol in and when i went in to pay for the fuel, the alarm went off i looked out but didnt see anything? , ok maybe i hit the button in my pocket ? went out to see a pack of kids on bike's, run and ride away behind the carwash building in the darkness. at the nose of my car i saw a big padlock laying on the ground, the little bastards threw it at my car and put a nice big dent in the bonnet, and took off a big chip of paint as well... all before i show the car this sat? its like it had a target on it .. can anyone have anything nice in adelaide ? or does everyone just think they can destroy what we all work so hard on? f@cking savages cant respect others property at all in this town. not including the poor bastard who had there car blown up and torched a few blocks from me sunday night at 2am? i heard it and saw the flames in the distance , you could hear the lp tank blow up then the fuel tank? its unreal , in USA i never had these kinda problems even living in LA, and working in the hood in east la or compton.. is it this bad all around town or just the dirty deep south savages ? pretty sic of it

    anyone know a good pin dent / dent touch up painter cheap as ? cause im sure its not enough to claim on the lousy insurance ? could trade some graphics ,photography or IT work for it?

    so you know at the car show sat in Kadina, why my car looks a little worse off then before...lol , hope it doesnt get worse...lol

    and one more whinge...lol can the roads in town get any rougher/pot holes... worse then dirt roads some of them....lol

    Man there has been so much bad shit going down in adelaide. My car hasnt been f**ked up yet, but with all these stories im feeling like its gonna happen to me at some time.

    People here are just flamin mongrels and dont give a f**k.

    haha i drive my car in fear and not wanting to get defected while I have a 15 g loan in the background and a full time job an hour from where I live that I need to get too every day to earn the money to pay for the car.

    Police suss me hard and I try to do anything not to pull up to or not cops just for fear of reprisal. I have been pulled over and given no reason and had my turbo timer and boost gauge questioned, but the cop who pulled me over was stupid and said she knew nothing about this stuff.

    I just said it was legally sold in any Retail Car store and she said I was fine to go on my way, I think I was lucky.

    I hate to get a defect sticker for something small like a mounted boost gauge or turbo timer. How r these a threat to the safety of the public? They are good for your car.

    Haha but yeah, I'll be there... to see the Commo's with tan leather, 6 LCD's in the roof + dash + engine bay and the 22" spinner rims...

    But I'll be there purely for the dyno and to check out the 'tasefully' modded cars (eg. Damo's :banana: )

    22 Inch spinners? shit id be keen to check them out, nice

    Ill be entering, but that doesn't mean im in the know :P

    Probably better to post the boost problems elsewhere mate, like wasteland? probably a leak somewhere, make sure everything is tight as a nun.

    ah I hope not ey, better get it checked. I recently had my speedometer gauge fixed at gaugeworks but the dude was f**king around with my boost gauge aswell. Wouldnt recommend that place to anyone the guy was a moron and a complete f**khead

    Tonkins is at 204-206 Gouger Street mate, were open 8:30-5:30 monday to friday and 9 til 1 on saturdays.

    ah mon to fri my work times, would have rock sat sum time. not this sat tho. Will ask for ben whenever i come in but

    Hi,hope this helps,i used to run a 1000watt amp(cheap brand bout $240) 7x10 kenwoods

    4" fronts kenwood and a kenwood head unit. head unit ran fronts and amp was for the rears

    had plenty of bass for rza etc and good with trebble for stuff like soulfly/machinehead.

    Each to their own.This worked well for my style of music.

    thats a good set up man. I know mates who rate kenwoods when listening to heavy music. wat was the cost of ur system?

    I am recently a new R33 owner and looking to put in some wicked audio, because it still has the factory audio deck and speakers in the car. Not great quality.

    Any ideas of what people have implemented themselves or recommend?

    In my first car, i was bangin (im not gonna bother putting in the spec numbers) pioneer head unit, front splits, rounds at the back. Was wicked audio but didnt get alot of power cause was runnin through the head unit.

    Am looking for pioneer head unit (mates car has a pioneer one that flips out with the dvd screen- pretty pimped but fair pricey), speakers wise is up for recommendation. pioneer, kenwoods, focals? And a sub and an amp system that will run well with the power i will need, but wont break the budget. I dont mind spending more on speakers, but am just looking to get away with the basic amp and sub wise.

    I listen to alot of metal/hardcore/gangster rap etc. So I need something that can take and make sound good with very low bass and heavy shit, but also rock treble frequencies that are clear enough over the low bass so they aint drowned out.

    Any help or any ideas other people have down would be appreciated. If anyone entering into autosalon and has wicked shit done id be looking to check out ur car

    A Noob Looking For Sa Skyline Info

    I dont know what happened to my other post but yeh im a noob.

    Basically looking to see where most people in SA recommend getting their skyline serviced and maintenanced and how regularly most people do it.

    Any info would be great. Im looking to make contacts with people who know their shit with skylines, who can inturn help me, cause i dont know much
