mate it wont run 10psi it will run 6-7psi upto 4 grand then jump up to 14 psi after that, itook my boost controler out i thought it may have been that and now iam running standard boost controler, but it just wont hold boost after 4 grand

hey guys i got a r33 i have a problem wen the revs get to 4 grand the boost jumps up to 13-14 psi and cuts out and plays up until redline, up until 4 grand it runs 6-7 psi no problems, i did have a bleed type boost controller on there i thought that may be the problem but its not, i have recently put a front mount, pod,splitfire coil packs, new fuel filter and new plugs nothing has fixed. i tried the search option but nothing has cum with my similar problems.

mine done the same wen i put the boost controller on and set it at 10psi i missed and backfired really bad i put the coils in and it all good, i done the spark plugs at the same time.

hey bud mine done the same thing as soon as i put a pod and boost controller on, so i changed my coils to splitfire 1z and its as good as gold now.

hey mate i havnt broken a gearbox cause i dnt launch the car at 5 grand thats why, 212k on the car the engine has only got 80k, i cant gaurntee that, the old fellow i bought it of replaced it cause it was using a little bit oil.. still got the original turbo on it, doest smoke use oil or nothing, i bought the car of a detailer in lauceston who brought it over wen he moved over, it was his wifes car and her mum had is b4 her its been well looked afta.
