Stupid question: Has an R33 got a seperate res for hicas fluid or is it incorperated in with the power steering fluid res ???? My hicas light comes on at wierd times too mainly when just putting 'round town. Only occaisionly does it come on when giving it a bootfull through the hills

Either you got no oil in ur sump. Or it is an oil pressure sensor problem, or oil pressure guage problem. I could keep going, but start with that first. Gauge should be reading about 4. If that guage is reading correctly and the car was not idling when you took that photo, I hope you work really close to home because you could cause some serious internal damage if you drove like that for a while.

My r33 has the same problem but goes away after a few secs. I was told by my mech. that it was only the a/c trying to find the "home position" for the automatic climate control. My a/c still works excellent and changes through all the modes; face/feet, demist, floor etc. etc. It apparently is a "home Sensor" problem. I cant be bothered pulling the dash apart to fix a noise that lasts 5 secs.

check for poor earth or an earth leak. Had one on my boat and used my 2week old battery as a sinker cause it would not hold charge after that

Can someone pls tell me the correct engine, gearbox and diff oil capacities. As Well as coolant capacities. Also the the correct weight oils to use in the engine, gearbox and diff

Not really critical. Ur car won't blow up or anything. But it does aid the cooling of the radiator and engine a bit also it provides a bit of under body protection
