  1. If the 1st gear grind other gear when shifting, it must be syncro for 1st gear wear out

    Hi guys,

    Got two problems, i'll start with the idle. When i turn on my car etc everything is fine, however the idle is supposed to be set at 1K, however it bounces up and between about 600 and 1K. Occasionally it will stay at 1k when idling, but more often than not it will bounce around. I have continued to drive it and it goes ok. Is this a big problem?  

    Secondly, with my 1st gear, say i'm sitting in some traffic, i pop the gearstick into neutral, and when its time to move again, i put the clutch FULLY down to the ground, go to move the gearstick into 1st; but it makes a funny grinding noise before engaging into the gear. The grinding noise only occurs for a second or two and i can feel it in the gearstick.  I only get this problem in 1st gear. It doesn't happen all the time luckily, but every say....20 odd times it will do it. Someone has told me sticky clutch, another has said cogs on 1st gear ****ed.....any hints?

  2. Also in 2nd movie the crap and bulls*** is too obvious

    If you notice the movie very hard, you can see the GTR speedo reading is still in KMH and it run 160 KMH before jump from the bridge but it still ahead of other car that run 160 MPH

  3. I bought the EZ out and I succesfully remove 1 stud but I couldnt get the other two as I can't drill the at the centre so I f@#k o1 of them, the other one is very hard to drill as limited space of drilling (stud at No 1 Cyl), I am frustrated now.

    How much do you think to take the car to the workshop to get head off and change the head gasket and machine the broken stud?

    Nb: My exhaust manifold is perfectly straight doesnt warp at all, do I still have to machine it ?

    which shop did you go for machine the broken bolts?

    mine broke 3 studs, I succesfully rmove 1 but the other 2 stiil there, and seems that I f@#k one of them

  5. Hello ppl

    I really need help of you guys as my car sound like a jet when it is on 5000 rpm+ , I checked and found that the exhaust manifold studs broken.

    I plan to go to the mechanics but i believe it will be costly because the labour involved. If anyone here experience the same problem and go to the mechanics can u advice me how much it will cost ?

    and if it is cost a fortune I will fix them my self but I need tips about how to get the broken studs out and do I need a new gasket and torque wrench in tighten back the stud

    Mine just got tested yesterday and passed 85dB :)

    I got cat back HKS Super Dragger, it has 1 small muffler and 1 resonator in the middle pipe.

    However I have to change my blitz bov to std bov before the exhaust test done, as the tester said that after market bov will not pass EPA noise test.

    Anyone here, where in Melbourne, know this piping to be made with reasonable price

    I been quoted for $450 just for pipe ( I prep. everything like the hole under the washer bottle, the silicon hoses, and even the intercooler has been fixed.)

    I thing $450 is excessive jusr for pipe, steel pipe
