Also another question ive just imported a R33 skyline when i go and get rego from transSA and have to pay stamp duty do i pay 4% of what i paid for the car or what i paid all up including compliance and shipping ? i paid around $6000 for the skyline plus another $6000 to ship and complie.

My compliance place is putting there stock suspension on for regency i wasnt talking about coilovers for that, im talking afterwards. I rang and asked the compliance place and they said the suspension may be a defect i dont want to get defected and go through all this bs i was told that coilovers are legal ? wtf is legal on a skyline!

Not ture customers use trader plates all the time for test drives, I would have said im taking it for a test drive and said the car yard i used.

I got some when i took my skyline to the compliance workshop a couple weeks ago, just need to know the right people (Car dealers) lol

Or if you can get your hands on a trader plate, does that work if its been defected ?

Yeah that sucks man, You should have got insurance straight away they usally give you 2 weeks free insurance even before you pay if you get that organized. Keep us up to date with what happens with this VL jerk! Also who the f**k overtakes from the left!

The compliance blokes told me that the suspension on my R33 may be to low to be legal, firstly how many cm's high does it have to be and secondly if it is a defect should i buy these http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...at=0&page=1 ? My plan is to make the skyline not defectable.

Yeah i know i told you that in another post somewhere on this forum, also when i took the car to compliance there were another set of these rims waiting to go back on another skyline lol.

I had this same problem the amp (Pioneer 800 watt mono block) kept going into protection mode, so i hooked the amp to different speakers worked fine. It was my sub its was f**ked it was a Pionner 800 watt sub so i thought a better Pioneer 1200 watt champion series sub works great . Just tick off the problems like have you got power running to the amp, running out, ground, check the terminals of both battery and amp are clean, then hook it up to something else, open up your sub/speakers to see if they are f**ked. It took me about a month to really find out what was wrong, cause it would sorta work then not but no way near as good as it use to. Hope i gave you some more ideas and hope its not the amp.

10th of Nov. Rang the compliance workshop and asked when i should take the car in they told me bring it in at anytime. 11th of Nov. Pick up a trader plate and drove the skyline to the workshop it was great! They told me the car should be ready in 3 weeks since they cant start it till next week. Now more waiting! But we are at the final stage Cant wait.

Ill have a look at the alarm you referred to me because as i said it sounds good and 2-way alarm is what i wanted! what are you talking about? the car shuts down if it moves and the key isnt in the ignition.

The whole point of the auto start was because i heard that you have to warm the car up for the turbo before you move, but seems like this isnt the case if you dont thrash it all the way up the street. My intentions were positive but it is just a cool gimmick like that dude said. Just looked at the mongoose m80 its cool cheers man.

Lol yeah it was bloody bolted on there, its gonna be a bitch to take off. Im buying a boot lid assembly kit from another member on this forum to replace it and also buying a stock front bumper from him too cause the one on there is pretty trashed up.
