    R34 Non Gtr With Te37 Rims?

    Only enough for cheap second hand te37s, 2.5-3k mark.

    But im still not sure if its the right look for my car, personaly...I dont think they are.

    Dont exactly want a aggresive look, want something sorta sexy sorta like Grants R34.

    Nice rims, clean stock body and lowered a tad.

    Sorry if i sound like whiny little girl i just suck at deciding.

    I reakon there pretty nice minus the fact that there chrome...

    Just wondering if anyone knows how much it is to powder coat them black?

    Or paint them hyperblack? Or if this is even possible lol. If its is and its not much would make looking for rims a bit easier.

    Sorry for asking so many questions :P Dont have anyone i can really ask without making things more confusing, better asking lots of questions here then making 500 topics for no reason though right? lol

    Ah thats interesting, might have to look into that. I should of also mentioned i get a very strong fuel smell in the car if i have my windows down or at low speeds. Im not sure exactly how many km to a full tank, all i know is it lasts me about 2 and a half weeks going to work and back. But thanks ill defently look into that.

    Hey, about 2 months back shortly after i bought my r34 GT some problems started to occur that i tried to ignore them hoping they wouldnt came back but it seems to be happnening quite a fair bit now. It seems like the problems are very similar.

    Problem 1. On startup at rare times the idle will be very irratic for a minuite or so.

    Problem 2. The engine warning light will come on for no reason and the car acts fine for awhile, eventualy ill pull up to a set of lights or something and the idle will be extremely irractic, then when i go to take off i have to put my foot almost flat to the floor to take off as quickly as i normaly would, almost like im running on 5 cylinders or something.

    Problem 3. Ive noticed on the highway if im going about 95 and i stay at the speed, every now and then all of a sudden the car gets a sudden boost in power and without me putting my foot down to accelerate the car starts accelerating i can easily hit 110 without moving my foot.

    Also at times the car feels like it has more/less power then usual.

    I just cant figure out whats goin so i thought id just ask in case someone has some clue of whats going on.

    Should also mention the car is about to be booked in for a service.

    Hey just curious if anyone has seen or has pictures of a r34 non gtt or gt with te37 rims? as much as a search i cant seem to find any. Im looking to buy some for my gt but im not sure if it will suit. Pictures would be great if you have them =]

    Also does anyone know what offset will fit without work? or what needs to be done to fit better offsets?

    Thought it would be better to ask here then to make 2 topics lol.

    The weight isnt a concern, its a street car so i dont see why it really matters?, but i guess concedering its only a rb20 N/A the less weight the better lol.

    Im more interested in the quality and looks, I personaly really like the look of japanese rims, mainly the volk/rays look. Nothing else has stuck my fancy as of yet.

    Deffently agree with joeyjoejoejuniorshabadoo they look 11ty times better.

    Okay I don't know if this helps in any way, or if it'll confuse people even more.

    But my 1999 R34 GT-R V-spec comes with remote locking/unlocking, keyless entry, whatever you want to call it. As mentioned it comes with a FOB with a GTR logo on the back of it.

    My car does not auto lock when I start the car or drive.

    My best mate has a 1998 R34 GT-T and his comes with a FOB too for central locking AND his car auto locks the doors the moment he starts his engine.

    Is there a way of enabling the auto-lock feature?

    Yeah thats what my 1999 r34 GT does to, autolocks soon as the engine starts.

    Accept i wanna know if theres a way of disabling it.

    That is a confusing question. but most R34 GTRs do not have factory keyless entry. there was a dealer option remote central locking that comes with a nice little remote with GTR emobossed on the back. there was also an immobiliser option that has a proximity immobiliser reader in the key barrel with the immobilisers mounted in the key themselves.

    Yes sorry i was having trouble wording it. So is that the same with GTT's and GT's?

    I only ask because my remote isnt stock, and im having problems figuring out if my central locking is aftermarket or not

    have had DTM's on my 34 for a few months now .. still love them, especially the chrome/shadow silver colour... One issue though, most of their rims apparently never arrive with hub rings (mine didn't) so you need to find the right size hub rings to fit them. It can be a PITA but most big wheel shops have them if you're lucky.

    keyless entry or no keyless entry?

    you mean a magic fob where you stand near the door with it in your pocket and it unlocks for you?

    No i ment did any r34 come factory without keyless entry. Keyless entry as in you press the button and the car unlocks.

    Nissan reakons mine didnt. And that i dont have a immobiliser. But they were only going but what there computeres said

    Hey just curious if anyone else has heard of them? i was looking on nismo.com.au (cant remember why) and they had a set of dtm rims on there that looked rather nice so i looked up the brand and it seems almost every set of rims they have a replicas. Even had an identicle te37 replica. The dtm rims that were on nismo were $1000 for a set of 18 inch rims no tyres.

    So what do you reakon steer clear of them? Im running out of rim choices ive only got about $2500 to spend.

    I'm very curious about this car, because they're not allowed for import under SEVS. What colour is the compliance plate on it??

    Haha yes its hideous, dunno what the previous owner was thinking, cant wait to replace it.

    Pretty sure the compliance plate is green, would have to double check though.

    On second thought...it might of been a personal import...might be yellow, will check this afternoon.
