  1. hmmm epa... oh what a pain, i usually change pipes at the track grrr, might have to leave my street pipe on! (95db from 30m so that is race car loud, not street legal)
  2. Is there noise restrictions ? my car in track form is around 95db from 30metres (which is max noise level for circuit racing) that cool ?

  4. make racing like the old days.... need some more cars!! Ford and Holden is boring... bring back the skyline and others!!!

  6. Looked like a good day.. some amazingly quick cars (man those honda powered lotus's are so f*kn cool!!) would be cool to see some more honda's next time munching some nissans with twice (make it 3 times) the power I will be defenetly be down next event!! (time to open up the motor )
  7. i rather set-up my car for time attacks, less cost involved in damages me thinks (supersprints ect) so much cheaper then racing....
  8. I know its a bit early to be asking, but where will the 2nd superlap be held?? i have to get my car ready... seems like time attack events is going to be the new thing, rather then racing (like in japan)!
  9. and that the 'slower (less powerful)' are faster ?

  12. i think the mx5 would be in open though (its on Dunlop D03's, had a 6spd put in & its been turbo'd)
  13. I may be entering in my dads MX5... (1990 NA6 Turbo - 180KW @ Rear wheels) he is doing 1:23's (and he admits that i can get it fair bit bellow 1:20's) hmmm would it be competitive ?
  14. yer same, i kerb hop every corner practically , basicly every corner that is part of the short circuit (from the S's to the straight) is where i am destroying my alignment... especially top of the hill over the apex and the last corner get the inside wheels over the kerb on the grass and pulls you through the corner... that screwed me over once though haha
  15. people doing 1:12 and under i just cant get it through my head!! i was at Oran Park GP yesterday and today for FOSC winter invitation and got a 1:22.6 (on dunlop hard compound semi's) and that was pushing real hard (destroyed my exhaust and alignment - from my aggressive lines:P) and dave raddatz in the mx5mania mx5 on slicks did 1:16s (and he is farkn fast) would be bloody amazing to see some1 lap at under 1:12!!!
  16. Was a average day only got 12 or so dry laps! Grrr, was getting my lines perfect! and then it started to piss down:( only managed a 1:25! so pissed off, i could of cracked my pb and done a 23 or even possibly a 22!!!! dammit, luckily i got festival of sports cars on the 14th and 15th to try accomplish these times, and then wakie next month for round 5! hopefully if i crack 1:10s at wakie i will go ahead and open up my motor

  18. jeeez some real nice race cars and builds here!! mine is nothing special! it is only still in the first few stages of its build, and im still driving it through the transformation to a IPRA car! will be in IPRA by 2009 and will stay doing NSW CAMS SS (for practice and to learn perfect set-ups for each track in NSW) and will go on to IPRA in 2010 and hope to do some Targa events in it to! Got a good Sponsor atm and some real good ones for when i start up in IPRA!!! Full Cage will be fitted in the next month or so! will be fun taking the dash out with all that wiring hahaha

It is held by cams as stated above, i always try to post up the Sup regs and entry forms as often as i can... and yer it was me haha, i have a mate who woks/worked for ignition (well i became mates via doing the ignitoin feature) haha, yer i am very happy with the car... considering it only got basic bolt on mods it is a fast car, my aim is to crack 1:10s in it how it is atm and ill be happy, im only a few seconds of the IPRA Type R's

Ummm, im not 100% which edition it is but i was in a Ignition DVD feature at Oran Park GP (my car had my old stale orange rims on) the practice day will be a awesome experience! make sure you let them take a spin of your car i know i let Ian Luff (he raced Type R's in IPRA) take my car for a spin and he did a 1:25 in my car at the GP circuit and i cut my time down from high 26's to high-mid 24's... as for doing SS events, that would be great ! they are also not so badly priced when you look at it considering there held in a professional manner and are timed as well!
  23. It truly is one of the greatest tracks in the world! i was lucky enough to experience a 3 day event on the full track a couple of months ago with FOSC! Really awesome!

Cheers.. i see it as the more practice and experience i get the faster i am getting... the car has only the mildest of modifications, and i don't want to go any further until i make use of the full capability's of my car The best mod by far is driver training and practice... Would be great to c you come down to a few events or even register for the series next year
