  5. I was into Toyotas and shit before I got my 32. Always used to get beaten by the AE86 in gran turismo 1 when I first played it, so researched them, learnt about RWD, never looked back. Got one, did some shit to it, got over having to thrash the living crap out of it go fast and a few mates had started getting turbos at that time and I got hooked on boost Always wanted an AE86, an S13 Silvia and a JZX100 Chaser. I did have a bit of a 'background lust' you might call it for R32 coupes (as they have a similar shape to a Silvia, just bigger and tougher but heavier). Anyway I had the 86, had a 180 (but still would've rathered a Sil) and had a JZX100 Chaser, and it was time to get rid of my JZX81 track weapon. Got a few offers of swaps but none of the cars interested me, until I got offered the 32. Was a tough looking example and had all the basics needed to keep drifting, so I made the swap. I'm still into Toyotas predominantly, but the 32 does the job for now. One day I'll probably be in another JZX100 or if I get lazy (and if they gain import approval) I'm quite taken by the UZS171 Crown Majesta.
  6. LOL same, had engine and gearbox oils changed, new plugs and a new clutch. Thats probably all I'm going to spend money on now, just maintinence. It drives how I want it so I don't think anymore mods are needed.
  7. Spotted about 20-30 Fezzas (all red ) in Balhannah around lunch time. Some older and newer cars in the mix. Nice sight seeing them all lined up on the main street. Then at random spots/times during the day there was a heap of old school american/aussie muscle cars and cruisers driving around, mainly saw them around the western hills areas. (I drove from charleston to town then up to lenswood then gumeracha then birdwood and finally woodside/balhannah/oakbank/nairne. Good 3 hours worth )
  8. It looked better when it didn't look so damn stock (or damaged ) but coppers cruise past me without a second glance now and sometimes they don't even take notice of my car at all, so I'm definately not complaining Which is how it should be really. I'm driving around obeying the laws like everyone else (well, everyone who isn't a business man in his commo or tradie in his ute/van doing 80 in 60 zones and whatnot ), why the hell should I be targetted simply for the type of car I drive?
  9. Yeah thats me. Car looks good on the road man. Must've been before the coilover incident
  10. hahahah I did the same recently chef_stagea, had a metal intake pipe on there and all shit for a few weeks, fluttering like a madcnut I am of the belief that it doesn't really do shit to turbo life when you're running low boost, but my turbs has a wee bit of shaft play so I just ran it on low boost with the bov blocked just incase. Changed it back a week ago as I got over the flutter a bit
  11. Yeah I regret bitching out on account of being violently hungover would've been nice to have a good chin wag and a few kicks of the footy.
  12. Err, what? Racing Gear make quality parts and have been around for years, they're not G4/D2 kinda shit. Sounds like human error with installation could be a factor (not pointing fingers). BTW I just remembered I saw you on Greenhill road this arvo mitch, I was the bloke in the stock white 32 4dr on Glen Ossie looking like death warmed up, getting stuck into my kfc Pinky and the Brain was one of my favourite cartoons as a kid, I used to be able to do the best Pinky impressions
  13. That shit is right off, crazy seeing your bottle go down in like 3 gulps. We were all rediculously smashed at my mates shack once, and we convinced him to do the bendy straw trick with a wine bottle (filled with random vodka RTDs) and fk was that something, seeing to a wine bottle in about 2secs flat I haven't done a beer bong in a while now, our one (dubbed 'Wilson' ) has been left outside for a bit and is dirty, rusty, and covered in ants. Time for Wilson v2 soon I think
  14. I also saw said yellow R34 coming out of that side street that runs past swish last night at about 10:30ish And 'RSFOUR' maroon stag with a chick driving in town at about 8pm.
  15. brrrrr was WAAYY to seedy to have a crack at attending Hope y'all had a good day, beautiful weather for it.
  16. I may be walking sideways if I have a big one in town tonight But no, I don't do skids...
  17. Well, I was meant to come down to Vilis tonight and meet a few of you. Got the run around trying to sort some shit out, got home at 5 and just thought fk it, there's always next week I'm gonna try and make a point of rocking up to the xmas barby sunday though
  18. Worst thing i found about doing plugs on mine was all the fking shit in the way. Take all the lines off the cross pipe, now take the bloody cross pipe off, then unclip all the coil pack plugs and take the 2 coilpack cradles off, shit now the fking strut brace is in the way.. took me like an hour.
  19. Looks good slammed on the GTR wheels man, nice pick up. Worlds better than a gts-t aren't they
  20. I'm gonna say taking the plugs out and checking/lowering the gap is a metric fkload easier and will probably fix it
  21. Spotted some fking tough looking silver Ceffy in Piccadilly this evening. Great fitting wheels, heaps of front camber, subtle kit, had a staunch look about it. Also spotted a bloke in a silver stag coming into Littlehampton, gave me a thumbs up so I returned the favour I was in my stock white 32 4dr
  22. I thought you said thats the one you had, because I thin other thread I put a pic up of the same lip as the white 4dr and you said you had a different bar.
  23. Do you wanna sound like this bloke though??
  24. Catch 22
  25. Really? what sort is it? You going to be at Vilis on friday man? I was thinking of popping in to say g'day to the regulars, if you're gonna be there can you bring it?
