Also what I REALLY want to know is how hard is it to pull the main vacuum tube out and swap it into another IAC assembly . The ones that are similar enough are the S14 SR20DET ones and the late 93 N14 GA16DE ones . The main difference is the steel tubular part .

    A .

Hi everyone. I'm also very interested in knowing this.

  2. Hi, that's the water hose that goes from the intake manifold to the turbo. There should be a hard pipe that goes from that hose to the turbo. At least that's how mine was.

@kingtube69 You got to go lower in you pics, near the 6th injector. Right at the end of the manifold to see it.

  3. Hey guys.

Reading through this thread had made me wonder. Couple of months ago i dyno my car and it wouldn't make any more power above 17 psi. I thought i hit a massive restriction. But now i'm thinking if it's valve float.

At 16 psi it made this.

And at 17 psi it made this. Is this valve float?

    Thanks in advance.

  4. Will do sir! I'm hoping for a low 12 to high 11. But because this is a street legal event the strip won't have traction compound so I'm hoping for the best.

Good luck with your car too, sir. 350 kw should get you some impressive times!

  5. what did it run? how many kws etc?

Well on that run the car was on a basic street tune and did a 14.44 at 98mph. Went to the dyno last saturday and on the first pull it made 175rwkw, so I ran that time with this much power.

Finally the car made 302rwkw at 18 psi dropping to 17 psi. Gonna go to the drags this saturday to test it again and see how it goes and this time on ET street radials.

    -CP Pistons

    -Stock Rods

    -ACL Bearings

    -Megasquirt 3

    -740cc Deatschwork Injectors

    -Walbro Fuel Pump.

    -Precision 5857 turbo.

-Tial 38mm Wastegate welded to exhaust housing.

    -Boost controlled by the ECU.

    -Stock intake and exhaust manifold

-3 inch downpipe to twin pipe 2.5 inch kakimoto exhaust.

It made 406 rwhp (302 rwkw) on 95 pump gas at 18 psi going down to 17 psi. Yea i know, it's the best pump gas we have. It's either this or C16 racing fuel. And my car is a streeter, can't run on C16 all the time.
