Part of the track was resurfaced last year and part was old road where you did cut the corner and go "rallycross" style, it worked well, just had to be quick with the opposite lock style steering, but heck, it was fun they are still accepting entries?? For 2009 the organisers have gone back to the a start outside Webcke's pub at Leyburn, with a course of approx 1km +, that will siut the more nimble higher HP type cars, with very good handling, and even better brakes. just tried to remove the centre vent from a r32 gtr i/m wrecking, it had a small tiny crack, and, this became a bloody big crack and the whole thing just shat it self, when you look at them, the only way to remove is to pull whole dash out, gently squeeze the bottom and top plastic lugclips and gently ease it out, getting one in should be very easy. I managed to get the LHS upper vent out in one bit, but it has sold. Still got heaps of other stuff left, including a complete front cut R32 GTR

POV1 make a brilliant lipstick cam with a separate housing that has battery and SD card in it, a bit exxy at $1000 but the resolution is great, there are other things that look like a dildo that are around the $300 Oregon Scientific do a Outdoor Sports cam also on SD card, resolution is OK Ya gotta watch with carrying a laptop around in competition as it has to be very secure. Better to record onto a lipstick/didldo then download to web later

Only have one complete twin set available, it comes with the piping/manifolds on each side of them, $150 the lot plus $25 postage. If you need this, then buy the lot, and then you can sell off what you dont need, a couple others were asking for just the bov only as well.

One other point to consider with running events like a Niss/Dat nats is that many entrants come from a great distance, this year there were 5? from Western Australia, quite a few more from Vic, and approx 20 from SA, is, the cost to get here, the cost to be an event participant, bear in mind that there are other event costs, not just the entry fee to a sprint event, and, with circuits run by the Qld Raceways team, there is a perception that to hire a circuit so that a club can run an event, is very costly. As a member of other clubs that run events, the last I heard of hire fees for Qld Raceway at Willowbank was something like $26000 for two days, ($13000 per day?), when you divide this up amongst the number of sprint entrants at the NisDat nats, (80, and approx 12 withdrew just prior) the sprint fee for this gets very costly. The Morgan Park component cost was $140 per entrant, and the Z club is not only hiring the trtack, but also hired all garages, ( which are extra cost, just like at Lakeside) and will absorb this cost on behalf of entrants, other income and grants will cover the excess track fee, but the idea is to come out at revenue neutral, and not loose heaps of club finances. Many do not realise the costs involved with running an event such as this to cater for just one Marque of car. The budget was something like $35000 plus, and we relied of a certain number of entrants for show and Shine, drags and sprints, catered function/dinner, etc etc, and as the drags were cancelled due to rain, there is a financial drain on the club, something that has to be accounted for. Maybe next time we let an organisation like Qld Raceways, who operate Lakeside, look after the total running of the Sprint component, because the organisers of NDN 09 had a devil of a job to do it, as well as compete themselves!

RB26 dett front cut, comes with gearbox, engine loom, ecu, engine is complete and original cept for pair of pods. and, has a bloody big set of aftermarket dumps from turbos. Cut was done behind gearbox tunnel and behind windscreen cos i hate cleaning up glass! No rad or front mount. dash included, speedo is 76000kms, can play vid of engine running approx three weeks ago. I can load into your trailer/truck etc no probs, got a bobcat and chains. Will not separate, but if a few peeps get together, pool the $$$ and take the lot, you can than split up what you all need, reply to this post, so all can see what you all want and you can work it out from there?? price - $6000 - Locked and loaded !
