  1. Yes the thread on the rod that goes through the fork that attaches to the clutch pedal. If you haven't gone far enough, then it will be wrong.....if you went too far, then it will be wrong.

There is really no way to describe how to adjust it correctly (well there is but I'm not going to type an essay here as there's too much information)

What I can tell you is if the pedal feels like there is nothing there until the very bottom then you need to wind the rod out of the fork more. Or if the pedal feels like it has pressure from the very top but it still doesn't disengage the clutch then you have gone too far and are blocking the recovery port inside the master cylinder so it doesn't work how it should.

Learning is fun aint it. ;)

Cheers mate got it sorted just kept bleeding and eventually got it yeehaar! Dosen't feel the same but at least it works. the clutch i got is really heavy so i guess its a struggle for it, its a OGR brass clutch, there a prety crazy clutch

Now i have another prob just took it for its first spin with another motor in and something went pop when under first boost and now the revs wont drop below 3000rpm! guess i'll have to put another post up!!

    Thanks for your reply buddy

  2. Hey guys

Just changed my clutch master cylinder on my r32 to a r33 master because i needed a shorter one for my engine set up.

Running a rb20det gearbox and slave cylinder.

I have bleed the lines and i now dont have enough travel in my slave to disengage my clutch.

Do i need to match the r33 master with a r33 slave??? or did i just stuff something up when i put the motor and gearbox in!

  3. Heya Guys

Slight problem, i've been trying to find out everywhere what is the oil flow is out of the block but with no luck. There is a remote grex oil filter and cooler in my car and a im about to put another motor in.

Just want to make sure i got the right flow throught the filter.

I'll put up some pics when i get home this arvo.

    Any help would be awesome

    Cheers

  8. Cheers for the reply

Lol yeah it does sometime get drivin in silly ways but i try not to. i mainly use it on the track time trials and drifting so it gets a bit hot.

When you say built one, do you mean new gears or just bearings and sycros?

thanks for the web site black32 but i put my settings in and at 100km/h was saying 4000rpm lol i tried all different setting and didn't get close. good website tho

  9. Heya peeps

I've got a r32 with a neo motor and a stock rb20 manual box behind it. Only pushing 300rwhp but that is the limit of the rb20 box so i have smashed a few of them:)

I know i have to put a rb25 geabox in but the rb20 ratios are perfect for the way i drive it on the track and apparently it is 20kgs lighter and 1/5 the price!

Can anyone tell me the ratio differences between them? My current box at 100km/h sits at 3000rpm in 5th. I know the diff also has a say in this and from memory its a 4.11 2way.

    looking at buying a 1993 r33 series 1 gearbox.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Cheers

  10. yeah stock ecu (its an rb20det ecu and loom) but it has some kinda chip on it from japan! and it is running a dodgie safc 1 the old school one with the dials lol

I think it is just running so rich it is going into limp mode. I've dropped the fuel pressure to 2 bar and leaned out the safc but still no luck. I wanted to give it a good run just to make sure everythin is ok like water lines etc before it goes to the tuner
