  1. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...er-t251669.html Works perfectly and MUCH easier, don't bother with external lines.
  2. I can't say. I moved the knock sensors right away when I built my RB30, so I couldn't compare. Since the stock sensors were right below the deck surface, I wanted to keep them in that same relative location.
  3. I drilled and tapped the higher locations for my knock sensors, the thread pitch is 1/4 BPT by the way. I run a PowerFC and rely very heavy on my knock sensors, so I wanted them to be as accurate as possible. Plus, it's very easy to drill, tap, and install.
  4. FYI, I believe the fitting in the block for the oil pressure sensor is 1/8 BPT, not NPT. You should double check, but I'm fairly sure.
  5. I did it after reading this post. Worked great! Plus, I got rid of my oil leak from the external oil fitting in the head. I had the hole in the head welded shut.
  6. Wow, that's great. I thought about the same theory when I did my RB30, but I didn't dare pull that plug out for fear I'd never be able to find something to go back in there. Very good idea!!
