Skyline drivers tend to crash at high speed due to the fact that we generally have cars that produce enough power to get to that speed (glares at the comon whore owners and FoundOnRubishDumps try hards) But on the other side of the coin most of us that put the cash into the car to make her go and look sweet try not to have them taken away by "hooning". I think the concept of a hoon needs to be redefined, To me a hoon is someone who drives a busted assed VN commy tryin to cut doughnuts in the middle of an interection to impress there bogan mates. Now skyline owners on the other hand tend to do a more classy style of tractionless ballett we have the drift we all know we can do doughnuts but drifting is an artform and one which most lines take to like a crackwhore to a fist full of $20's. now that places have become available for us to take our cars there is less of this on the streets which genrally means that we meet check out each others rides and get ideas on how to make our cars just that little bit better. Perhaps we should invite one of the people from ACA or Today/tonight to come down to a meet and see what it is really like given that most people tend to respect the set rules of a meet and just wanna have fun. Perhaps then we can atleast get a new nickname like the tractionally challanged (sounds so much better than hoon to me.) anyway thats my 2 cents.

yeah so we are a go for friday night not saturday night guys FRIDAY the 15th not saturday the 16th. the order of visit atm is HJ's morayfield (7:30-8:00) wollies burpengary 8:15-8:30 then to d'bay shell on d'bay road. unless we get some interest from somewhere else before lunchtime tomorrow we will be going from d'bay up the highway back to the great outdoors centre carbark on morayfield rd. We'll gun for between 7:30 and 8 then we ill go to wollies car park in burpengary for 15 mins then we will go to the shell in D'bay for 15 mins then if the lads in northlakes decide to join in we will go down to the BP on the main drag there then back up the highway to the great outdoors centre thats the route atm unless people add to it by sayin something along the lines of "oi i'm at (insert location here) and i wanna be a part of it add a stop for me" prob be more chattin and checkin ouyt cars than cruising atm due to the lack of people atm. so it will be a rest for your car if need be i can alway pick ya up and spare your line's water pump the strain.

ok HJ's would be best so there is at least of us from the first leg. Damn thats gotta suck is it just a seal or is it the pump itself? GTST u gonna come on this cruise? if so what stop are you gonna get in with it?

The cruise has been post-phoned atm due to lack of interest. however when we have enough interest where the majority of us can get out for the weekend to cruise we will have one then so keep checking the board so we can get this thing happening.

I just fitted one of these to the same car I guess the questions i have are: 1. is it a stock turbo and what poundage are you running it at and 2. did you follow the diagram listed on this site for fitting it or did you use one from another source. Now i am all paranoid about it i'll keep an eye on mine over the next week and see if i have any issues.

hiya nick I met ya over at QT the other week. I just got my Manual one today fitted it and set it to the right pressure in about 5 mins cost me about $50 inc postage it's a manual one but it's sweet no spiking and reduces lag. if u want more info or to check it out PM me

Due to lack of interest and prior commitments of various northside line owners the cruise is set to be post-phoned to an as yet undetermined date.

how are you for the friday omy-33? we could do it on the friday night if u wanted seeing as you were one of the people that helped get this idea rolling it's only fitting your able to participate. Sweet rolzy32 we should get a bit of interest in it i hope.

Hi for all those who haven't been in the northside topic but want to get in on a cruise we are planning the following (note we are open to suggestions and ideas especially from people who have planned cruises before) The route is yet to be determined and finalized and will be updated as we go. So far I have the following info: The cruise will start at Hungry Jacks morayfield at aprox 7:30pm we will wait there untill 8pm then begin our run down into burpengary (if someone knows a good location to park in burpengary please let us know) (approx stopping time in burpengary will be 15 mins) then from there we will continue to D'Bay where we will stop at the shell service station on deception bay road this will be an approx 20 min stop so people can chat and refuel. From there I am hoping to find a few people in redcliffe that want to join in and we will cut a lap down there and stop to do a meet and greet(once again a suitable location for parking and conversation would be appreciated...somewhere near the water front.) for about 30 mins. Then as many people seem to be in bracken ridge a run from Redcliffe via the hornybrook bridge down to bracken ridge (yet another location we will need suitable parking at) stopping for about 20 mins to collect more people for the cruise. From bracken ridge we could cruise back up the highway to the BP service stations that are on the bruce highway just south of the Buchannans road exit. From there the suggestion for a final stop at The great outdoors centre on morayfield road was suggested for some conversation and to say goodbye and share our thoughts on the cruise and what could be done to improve it for the next one. I have tried to keep travel in the suburbs to a minimum to maximise the quallity of the drive (60 in a skyline is like taking a hot chick home and all you get is a hand job...) Anyone with suggestions please PM me or post Also the route can be changed subject to the level of interest and participation of other skyline owners. I am hoping to finish up at about 12-1am but if people would like to stay on and chat for longer thats cool. we could always make it the friday night thats not a big issue whatever night or weekend people can make it. I met azn nick69 today at Queensland Transport his new 32 looks like it's a pretty sweet ride. so lads and ladies...wait are women alowed to own sexy cars? or is there some sort or law or prerequisit as in they must be this sexy (inset image of obscenely hot woman here) to own a skyline....ok tangent over lets pick a night that the most of us can attend and plan out some sweet locales that outdoor centre is a good spot but it lacks food good for a meeting spot to chat and catch up tho so maybe a meet up at hj's then cruze around to locate all the other members then back to that car park for a bit of show off the rides and chat. sound good?

Ok tomorrow night I will open a northside cruse thread and start organizing stops so we can collect as many of us as possible and work from there. Any sugestions for meeting areas? In morayfield Hungry Jacks would be a good starting point. Lets try and have a few stops planed before tomorrow night so we can throw the thread up. I am aiming for a saturday night (16th of AUG) if enough people can swing it.

If you brought the car and are transfering the rego you have 30 days to do it before the cops can break your ballz about it. If you are waiting for the rego to expire you are better off cashing in the plates or getting the previous owner to and re-registering it in your name asap. Hope this was helpful.

I fitted the new boost gauge tonight. and i have discovered that my car has a slight case of boost fade at high RPM I am still waiting on my boost controler to arrive but in the event that it is fitted and the problem persists is there anything i should be looking at inparticular as to the culprit for it? I love my boost and want her to hold it till redline not get lazy 3/4 of the way there. On another topic entirely looks like we have a few people up for a cruise how is everyone's saturday night the 16th of AUG looking? if it's good drop me a PM and i'll knock up a northside cruze post and we will sort out a route and who is comming.

probably in 2 weekends time for a cruse I have to fit parts and schedule it around when the missus can watch the kids. but yeah the more people the better good to see so many people around the area. I have seen dantay's car i saw it today on the road between burpengary and morafield road round abouts. A funny side note i got bretho'd while working yesterday because the cop wanted to check out my car. (not that my rides overly flash ) the cop just wanted to check it out.

Who else would be up for a meet and greet? so far Dantay and myself are interested perhaps we could do a northside cruise go from morayfield down through d'bay / redcliffe (only if there are members there) then down to northlakes. if someone has an idea for a cruze let me know as i think it would be a good idea.

yeah i've seen ya on the highway before epyon at least i think it was you. the intercooler is what i will be doing once my pay grade goes up. perhaps we should organize a northside meet and greet seems to be a few of us around. I know car audio and computers but bugger all about the other aspects of it I'd say we have a decent knowledge base if we put our heads together.
