Thanks for that Terry, I have looked at couple of other ones but all the other ones were near the $20k mark and had lots of mods done. This one i looked at was basically stock which is what I'm really after
-
I was looking at the blue one on the internet but when i rocked up on saturday he said he had sold it. Its good to hear that you found it good. I was a bit sus at start but after meeting him he seemed to be a really decent guy
-
Yeah the only problem is i need a new car by October so I am kinda rushing things. Anyway they won't last long as they're in fairly good condition for the price + i will be modding it in the long run anyway
-
He didn't mention anything about a warranty to me but then again I didn't ask. Anyway yeah you do need to be quick.
-
yeah the silver one i drove started to miss fire only after we were coming back on saturday. either way i will prob get one just need to talk to the accountant
-
i took the stock silver one out for a drive and it felt pretty good. did you take any out + what price did they tell you?
-
So u have checked them out too?
-
Nah he also has 2 silver ones there which i had a look at.
-
Well it is a bit rough but it is in excellent condition. Plus I'm goin to go back soon and take it to a mechanic and get them to check it out but when I took it for a drive it felt really good, no weird sounds or anything. Plus i will be doing it up so it's a nice base to start with.

Ok guys i went and had a look at it. It is uncomplied, but other than that i took it out for a bit of a spin and it was fine. The ride was a bit rough but I expected that with the type of suspension that is in it. So anyway they said they would accept $16,000 for it including it be complied and registered
-
thanks for your replies guys. I'm going to check it out this weekend. The guy i was talking to said he had 5 of these skylines. It does sound to good to be true. Will update you all on the weekend with what i find out. Yeah we do have some nice stretches of road down here. Not much police presence at the moment though mostly in town fighting with the drunks.

What would be a rough price for a R34 GTT coupe. I have found several for $14000 all from the same person on carpoint.com.au. However all the other GTTs are almost $20000. Does anyone know anything about http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/NISSAN....aspx?State=VIC. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Buying R34 25gt-t

also the skyline i was looking at had 4 wheel steering. anyone out there know if there is many problems with it or not? -
I'm in the market for a new car so I was thinking maybe a Skyline. I was looking at a 1998 Nissan Skyline R34 25GT-T. Just wanting to know how anyone found this car and how much people are payingroughly for insurance and registration. Also any relatively cheap performance mods, I was looking at maybe getting a Apexi Power FC Computer for $1400 (a bit expensive i know). Plus is the stock blow off valve any good or do I need to get a better one to get better performance?
