  1. so if it is a spun bearing or soemthign i shoudl just get an engine swap? if i were to do an engine swap id liek to bash in a rb26det and take the $4500 on the chin
  2. okay, i found some stuff out, when i start it for the first time in a day the noise is there only slightly not very loud, then as i drive around and after about 10-15 mins its pretty much gone, the only thing is when i rev it under the hood and the reves are coming back down there is a slight like rotating sound like if somethign were rotating but off balance sorta thing?

  4. its not coming from the fan, ive spent so much money with my mechanic with my car, and itsb een making the sound since the last service when i had to get it over the pits, and it passed and no one noticed it, im getting greddy emanage installed and dyno'ed so ill see if he can check it out if it blows ill bash a rb26 in it

  6. yea as i rev it it speeds up and as the revs come down the nose slows down and almost stops, but as it hits idel rpm its back
  7. hey, started my car this morning almost stalled it never does that, and from the rockercovers more aless the intake sound there is a knocking sound, ive noticed it b4 but it goes away and it came back its inside the engine, anythign to worry about? normal oil pressure, cool water temps? and if so how much would it cost me to get the bottem end rebuilt? and or the top end? in perth
  8. yeah, thats the thing, t clear what so ever it says you have the change the jumpers to match your specfic car and it also says dont change them unless you have a vtec
  9. hey, wanted to install my greddy emanage so i could save myself some money, ive done thingsl ike this b4 so i wont stuff it up, anyways i need some help with the jumpers, ive heard to many things yyou need to change them if you ahve a vtec, etc... anyone know? and where is the best spot to mount it, im looking for wank factor, glove box?
  10. you cant remap a rb25 ecu you need to get a r32 which can be remaped straight replacment
  11. yea, but the thing is evan when my car passes, it wil get defected again, for soemthign else, ahhh the bennifits from owning an import
  12. okay great, also there is a minor oil leak from rocker cover, $200 form nissan for gasket, replace or clean

  14. hey got picked for a "random" drug test/alco test, and to make a long story short got defected, my exaust is to loud didnt evan messure it iwht a db metre, its a standard r33 series 1 exsaust then from cat 3" back to a 5" cannon,it had a silencer in the tip but i had it bashed out, and he looked under my bonnet and sdaid my fan shroud is to small and is ilegal, what do i do? try and pass it with a silencer, also i have a trust turbotimer, a greddy boost controller and a blitz infomation display all in the secon din pocket, are any of these ilegal?
  15. the pic i uploded isnt a nissan fuel rail i dont think i just realised the fuel regulator is on top of the fuel rail at the end if it not on the very end, if i didnt tee it off it would go straight into the inlet manifold itsj ust a 3 or 4mm hose, but i guess i best get osme efi? hose?
  16. im pretty sure ive uploaded the wrong pic, there are two lines comming to and from the fuel rail on from the underside of the car into the fuel filter, then into the fuel rail and the otther the regulator thingy, then there is a line from another regulator thingy near the fuel filter, and ive replaced it with silicone whitch goes to the regulator attached to the fuel rail and in the manual that is where your ment to tee it off to read boost, it reads vacume and bost perfectly fine, have had many mechanics look over the car,
  17. yea its off the pressure regulator, its when i had all the pipes disconected and a little bit of fuel came out form the regulator because i cut the pipe with a knife, there wasnt any fuel i nthe actual line, also i change the pipe goig nto the fuel regulator also which the all connects from, and it smelt like fuel inside the pipes is this okay, checked it all after a drive no fuel nothign wrong?
  18. okay, i replaced a rubber hose where my boost controllers reads boost it just above from the fuel rail liek the vacume for it? when i cut the line fuel came out but it stopted after spillign a coupel of mls im not to sure if its acually a fuel line, it connectes to the fuel rail via a diaframe looking thing, and htne it goes into the intake manifold whitch is teeded off to my boost controller, is silicone hose okay? the lien i took out was rubber and stiff and had some reinforeced material in it also its a r33 gtst
