i agree that p platers should learn to drive properly before being put behind a high powered car. But more importantly, driving is a privelage and i believe its not just high powered cars that is the problem. I think p platers are not getting adequate training before being let onto the roads. And i dont mean that the tests are not harsh enough as they are. But maybe make a program compulsory that is run by the governemnt a step in the whole process of getting your licence prior to receiving it. Ensuring adequate training is more vital. You can give anyone any car and they can hoon in it. Yes, high powered cars make it easier to hoon but if a person has been trained in most emergency situations they can drive anything within reason. I can say when i got my licence, i hadnt even encountered or talked about the many situations you can get into in everyday driving and maybe its more education that the public needs than just harsh laws. Just my two cents.
