  1. Thanks for the reply, I'm guessing its the part. Mot station have told me theres excessive play in the steering and the flexi coupling is the problem. Nissan uk said if they could find a cefiro part it would probably take up to 4 weeks to recieve from japan. So far no part has been found. Fingers crossed its the U joint, will save a lot of time and money.
  2. Hi, am having a problem over in the uk finding a flexible coupling for my a31 cefiro, would anyone know what other models may have the part such as an s13 etc?
  3. Ok, cheers. I'm guessing thats a world wide code? Also how much oil needs to be put in the engine? As I mentioned details in uk are not at hand much.
  4. Hi peeps, need to do an oil change and filter on my cef pretty soon and information in the uk is pretty limited. I'm guessing the oil filter would be the same as a r32?? the engine is a 2ltr non turbo, believe it's just called a rb20e. Also should I use semi synthetic oil?
  5. ...ride height soft/hardness etc please.
  6. Wow, u know ur stuff don't u! I will check my bolt patterns then. Thanks for the reply
  7. So basically an s13 200sx Lsd will do the job? ...sorry don't understand all the terms you used.
  8. Hi all, I've got a A31 cef on D2 coilovers. I'm sat on 15" ssr xr4's with 195/60 tyres. I use the car as a daily drive to work etc, I like a low look but also have to deal with speed humps in the road etc.. Often the car has a full load of people and sometimes if its wet I like to have a play. What suggestions would you have for me to set the suspension to (inc camber etc)?
  9. Hi all, I've got an A31 cef with a few toys as my daily drive, it has a 2 way LSD in it but want to replace it with a stock LSD for more user friendly driving. What will go in?
  10. Here's another pic I found, grill popped back in and front plate removed!
  11. I've had quite a few motors now, but still one of my favourites was my c32 laurel. Awesome car, got rid of it in the end as was spending a fortune trying to fix an electrical problem and breaking down 4-12 times a day to work and back plus constant recovery call outs were doing my nut!!! Sold the car and the next bloke by luck bought a part from ebay which turned out to have been the problem. But still regret selling it to this day, awesome summer with the car cruising down the beach in jap luxury (the old computer tune singing in reverse gear), and the rainy nights kicked ass!! She was an old high mileage boat with custom made lowered suspension, a welded diff, cherry bomb exhaust and fatt off air horns and I bloody loved her Heres a few pics of her, she used to roll on ssr xr4's on the front and meshes on the rear
  12. No luck mate, was a manufacturer option and are long out of production. Ps like the ones on your car lol
  13. Aghhhh stuff them, bunch of snobs!!! Very nice car m8, clean. .....Mmmmmmmmm nice weather strips too. Keeping them?
  14. I'll try the path of a r32 mechanical one then!! Seems the best bet so far. Cheers m8
  15. My chassis number starts LA, R32 skylines take a mechanical speedo as far as I know. I'm from dorset, there are a couple of cefiro's over here you'll find most if you search on driftworks.com forum page. ....any pictures of yours?
  16. Far as I know m8. I'm sure the stock cefiro's in japan have the pre facelift s13 wheels. Also I've seen a cefiro drifting with a 5 stud conversion with s14 wheels on, so would guess s13 4 studs would fit a 4 stud cefiro.
  17. After closer inspection it looks like a mechanical speedo like the r32.. ? ? ?
  18. Hi, does anyone know where to get these from. Lost the one over the drivers window and need an other or a full set. Can't live without them, awesome for keeping the rain out!!! Any ideas?
  19. Hi guys. I'm in the uk and have bought a speedo converter (kmh-mph) for my cefiro but cant find a wiring diagram. I know you don't use them but would anyone have any idea where I could find a wiring diagram to install the converter?
  20. Rahh!!!!! All problems sorted and now uk Mot'd, ready to be uk registered.... (for some late night street dori action)
  21. Update on my car, Still not on the road yet.... failed uk mot due to needing 4 new tires, new wiper blades and front coilovers are shot, among other minor bits. Not really impressed with it so far, this is how it arrived from japan. rear completely bold tires front one punctured, drivers electric window stuck half open (bought new switch but seems motor is the problem) and I'm having trouble sourcing one, though am told an r32 4 door one is the same?? So I've just splashed out on a full brand new set of coilovers which I'm well happy with. Just gotta save some more now before I can do anything else. Looking at getting a new set of wheels, and a 2 branch manifold and de-cat when I've got a bit more cash. ....wish it was on the road!
  22. How odd, do you know what make they are? Mine ar exactly the same just have less of a dish.
