nah mate dont use thinners ull be there all day and unless u have a proper polisher not just a buff u will get sand marks all through it paint stripper is the go get the k&h from autobarn its great stuff just rememba not to eave it on too long, when it starts to bubble then clean it off with thinners or water thinners will work beta in that aspect then c how u go with your autosol if that dont work well get some cut and polish and try that ok mate. get back if any problems.

if u think thats bad try have a chick cop put a defect on your car i got done one night and the chick got me for my pod filter, tyres, a stiker on my windscreen and the funniest of all she said i had to take out my standard suspension i almost fell ova. There is a few things u can do to get out of it one is to ask them for there vacc license if they dont have it they cant check your car or if they r having a go at u just mention the ongoodsman and theyll shit themselves.

yeh i work with aloy and cops hated me for having a pod im getting rid of it and getting two of the small k&n filters and i gona build a custom cold air imtake box for it hopefully all goes well.

yeh do all that and yeh to get it done properly take the tyres off, u will need a proper buff to get in everywhere and yeh just use polish that will cut and polish it well, if u dont want to be polishing them all the time get them cleared afta u happy with the polish job. post me to c how u goin with them ok.

i got a few mates in the tyre business so let me c what they can get in the way of 255's and ill get back. i should b able to get a good price im getting 265/35/18 for mine and they gonna b bout $300 to $400 each so 17's in 255 should b a bit cheaper

i have a big turbo with an internal wastegate do u know how hard it is to replace it with an external?

if u can get a set of standard rims do so and take your rims of the tyres its the only way u will polish them properly then u juct clear them like u would a car. i dont know of anyone who can do it as u need a special machine, i can polish just about anything by hand as long as they dont have heaps of spokes it not to hard but your first thing u need to do is get the rims of the tyres. where bouts in melb r u?

water gets it off, thinners as well trust me dont get it on your hands u will know about it big time. if u want them to stay nice and shinny u will have to polish them by hand like once a week or get them fully polished and then clear them again.

yeh it is bloking it u will be there all day with that stuff just use a bit of paint stripper make sure u dont get it on what u dont want polished its nasty stuff and dont leave it on long as it will eat the alloy afta a while, i have neva polished them with autosol but if u can get a buff with some normal car polish and give them a buff if that dont work give us a yell if u not to far away i might b able to do it for u as long as u have more rims as i dont know how long it will take.
