  1. it was actually a pin in the ecu cable connector had come loose and was not relaying information to the exhaust correctly. It was similar to limp home mode but rather than cut out it just hit it's maximum and sputtered. The fact it's maximum was ~2500rpm was just coincidence. Just posting for anybody who might have been interested. Anyway, selling a perfectly good green sticker afm anyone?
  2. my friend tried re-soldering the pins for me, no such luck. Are AFM's the kind of product that i should be looking to get brand new? ebay seems to have a few good deals on afm's used and new (i think)
  3. So, I have an R33Gtst Series 1 running a stock ecu. my AFM is faulty and i need a new one. It is a green sticker AFM. I am unclear on what I am actually shopping for, as i have heard that using the wrong AFM with the wrong ECU is incompatible. If anybody could point me in the right direction i would much appreciate it. Thank you in advance
  4. Looking to buy a front/rear wheels/tyres for an r33, will buy full set if necessary pm me with price
  5. im pretty sure the r32 doors are similar layout to r33, im not sure about the skin, but you'll see a small double plug that you can just pull apart and feed 12v down the pins going to the window motor between the door trim and the shell of the door
  6. what i suggested to you would have confirmed whether the problem layed in the electrics or the motor/regulator mine clicked nonstop when mine was the relay
  7. mines an r33 gtst s1, but mine happens at low revs, generally when im shifting down through the gears, maybe see if that replicates it for you?
  8. mine kinda work, not sure whats wrong with it, like i can retract the left one and move it around, but i cant do anything with the right one, although i think the previous owner was in a crash on that side before i got it. let me know how you go mate, i'll probably have to snatch some hints off you
  9. 76gtr, i have a similar problem, my car stalls intermittently when im slowing down at intersections etc, and i recently had a turbo timer installed when i got an alarm installed, would this be a similar case? battery terminals have been checked/cleaned out etc. but i know the key shaft is a bit loose, i just find it strange that it only happens when i'm coming down through the gears and the cars at low revs. The car IS idling below 1000, but it's been doing that for a while (just needs a service) new coil packs and sparkplugs replaced 3000km's ago (started doing it ~700km ago S1 R33 GTS-T
  10. Pretty common problem, few things it could be mine was a combination of the relay and the door button panel. to get it up in the mean time, take your battery out and put it next to the door, then take the door trim off, theres a little plug that you can disconnect that goes to the motor which goes through a hole. wire up the positive and negative to the battery and touch them on the terminals going to the window motor, if it doesnt work then switch the terminals. i stripped back the ends of some speaker wire and twisted them together at each end (obviously not the same one that goes to each terminal) once that's done you probably just need a relay, either that or the button is locked on auto, it's a common problem like i said. find out which door button panel you have, theres one with a black backing and one with a white (they're different wiring structure if i remember) but go to an import spares place and just try a relay and a button panel individually, see where the problem actually lies. mine was unluckily in both good luck

  12. hey, when i was in school, photos of car cruises was something i'd have /liked/ to be taking, let alone owning a 32 at that age
  13. haha, yeah, i was in the first few cars as we got to the 100 zone at lonsdale highway and he just tore past me, sounded really nice aswell. lots of nice cars, post up when you're organising another one, will set a night aside and hopefully my front bumper wont look so haggard
