  8. NOTE: check pinout to actual wiring pin diagram as i am pretty sure it is back to front (look for the pattern of the non conected pins between pin diagram and loom) thats the way i did it several years ago. If i remember correctly i redrew the diagram attached and highlighted the non connected wires and then matched them up to the actual pinouts on the loom. ps this will save you from ruining your diff computer if you get it muddled. Problem: You experience intermittent A-LSD fail on your dashboard after you have fitted an aftermarket ECU to your ECR33 Skyline. This may be because the ECU you are using is not suited to the Active LSD model. It seems the stock ECU present on the Active LSD model cars performed a TPS signal relay to the ABS/ALSD computer in the boot. The Apexi PowerFC (and possibly others) don't relay the TPS signal and therefore the A-LSD system fails intermittently. Read below for instructions on how to correct this. Please note this involves tampering with your wiring loom. You need to make sure you cut and splice the correct wires, if you do it incorrectly it could be fatal to your ECU and/or Engine so please double check, triple check or get a mechanic or someone who is confident to do it if you are unsure. Tools: Wire Splicer + Pliers Phillips Head Screwdriver Electrical Tape Soldering Iron + Solder (ideal) 1. Undo the kick panel and ECU braket and place the ECU on the floor 2. Locate wire #38 (TPS Signal) and expose some of it's copper wire (DO NOT CUT THIS WIRE, YOUR CAR WILL NOT RUN IF YOU CUT IT) 3. Locate wire #56 (To ABS/ALSD Computer) and cut it 4. Join the car loom end of wire #56 onto the exposed copper wire of #38 5. Tape up (or ideally solder) the join so its secure 6. Tape up wire #56 going into the ECU (one end goes into the ECU, the other end should go nowhere) Start the car up, check for A-LSD errors and all is done. Be sure to cut the correct wires and double check, use the pinout layout to work out which way you are looking at the ECU. It's formation is 8pin, 10pin, 10pin, 10pin, so use this in accordance with the diagram to work out which way the ECU is facing. Special thanks to; T04GTR and Moanie for the extraordinary efforts in getting this problem solved. Thanks guys really appreciated. For a detailed discussion on the problems and notes check out http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...owtopic=106326# and http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=28464 wiring diagram for ecu pinouts Special thanks to Moanie and Paullie who i beleive were the first to identify this fix as was posted several years ago. alsdpinout.pdf alsdpinout.pdf
  9. Cool looking concept by what looks to be mAzDa: Lemans?
  10. what did you think of the lambo pics, almost looks like a shorter wheel base galliardo..... It should handle like a go kart. I saw the other day some interesting pulse propulsion pictures of a SR71 black bird with a stream of about 15 pulse explosions hanging out the back. Worked it out to be if the bird was travelling at mach4 approximately then there was roughly about 700 - 800 contained pulses per second. (interesting fact). Anyone know what the max speed of a pulse propulsion jet currently is??? I heard that the black birds often get so hot that some of their outer edges glow red hot from air friction and that some of the fumes in the cockpit can be quite lethal.
  11. Perhaps the quickest car / plane that will be built in the next century (apart from pulse propulsion) Also have what i beleive to be a pulse propulsion plane photo from the canadian air force which seems to have been deleted from my email account... Note photo was taken out of a book in publication.
  12. Some designs from SM cars..... Some interesting designs / computer art there.... Sort of looks like the next Buggatti Veyron
  13. Computer art: f1 car of the future? space ship and space vehicle, as was in a mag
