  1. Any more info on that one? I'll send our Perth photographer along
  2. We will be covering that event and entering our own drift car. Actually we have been involved in the design of the new track...
  3. We're happy to feature import R31s in HPI and the local cars can go in our sister mag Zoom if they are something special.
  4. Already photographed it Thanks for the tip though
  5. What do you mean? Just a turbo recommendation or a whole package? Are we talking about a GT-t? What do you want from the car? I can't make any recommendation without this sort of info
  6. The North Shore isn't exactly overflowing with workshops that specialise in imports. The only one I know of is Hybrid-Vision in Artarmon. If Roger is still there, he knows his stuff.
  7. Once again, can the owner get in touch with us?
  8. If those guys are reading this, please send me some info
  9. Click on my profile and you can send a private message
  10. S-AFC can be useful, depending on the other things done to your car. They are easy enough to tune, so I don't see why you should have to remove it (assuming it was wired properly in the first place)
  11. Want your car featured in High Performance Imports? If you can answer yes to these three questions then feel free to email me with your pics and specs. 1. Will people be interested to read about your car? 2. Are there lots of interesting things on your car to photograph? 3. Is your car different to anything you have seen recently in HPI? Don't be shy now
  12. Hi Steve The turbo is actually an XTR 3040-600 with a 1.03 A/R exhaust housing. As you would expect it makes minimal boost below 4000rpm, but then hauls hard to the limiter (now 8000rpm). Best time now is [email protected] on Nitto tyres.
  13. on the freeway 11l/100km in my R34, 14-15 in town
  14. May be the AFC, but more likely your oxygen sensor is not functioning properly.
  15. I concur with YRL05S, though the SR20DET also got used in Bluebird SSS Attesa and Pulsar GTiR
  16. You get what you pay for. There are single-plate clutches that will handle that sort of power, but they won't be as consistent as a twin-plate. I used an OS Giken twin plate in my R34 with 280-295kW at the wheels. It could handle any kind of abuse and still behave almost like a normal clutch in traffic.
