  1. Hi guys, new to this site so hello all. Anyway i'm doing a manual conversion on my mates GTSt at the moment, i've done one before on a GTS and it went hassle free. However this one is proving to be an issue. The clutch isn't biting properly.... it's a almost new (less than 2000kms) clutch, the box is out of a good running car (we knew the owner of the donor car). Whats happening is when you take your foot of the clutch when in gear the car isn't moving but the rev's drop by about 200rpm or so meaning that it is slipping really bad! My possible theories as to why this is happening are: 1. My gut instinct - The box isn't perfectly lined up against the engine? (at the time the brackets that go between the block and the bell housing were not attached but all other bolts were) Even if it's mm out i think thats all it will be 2. The clutch isn't lined up or bolted down properly? (i find this hard to believe as the clutch pedal is acting pretty much normally) 3. The flywheel is stuffed? Thing is as i said I know for a fact that the conversion is from a mint running car, i had driven it prior to it being wrecked for parts. So can anyone shed any light on this situation for me? Thanks in advance Jimi
