    ok so now i am living in banksia grove, my car has S.A plates on it so it stands out like a sore thumb at the moment, if you see me on the road feel free to give me a wave as im sure to wave back at all skyline drivers...... no doubt i'll catch some of you guys and girls on a cruise soon enough....

    You can get a manual with cruise control??.... i have never seen this....seriously!

    my 31 4 door manual has cruise control..... which will come in handy on the crossing of the nullabor.....it is an after market set up that works on the engine revs...... just set and forget its wicked for fuel economy and pesky 50k zones in the city

    hi to every one in perth........ i'm heading back after leaving the state of Wait Awile nearly 7 years ago, this time i will return with my 31............

    whats the cruises like over there now?

    where does every one go?

    i should be there on the 26th of december are any cruises coming up, ummm ill check the calander on second thought.

    looking forward to meeting some new ppls.

    imo if we co operate with police and see where it goes we may be surprised ( dont hold your breath ) if we go under ground, so to speak, it will cause no end of problems. i have been on 1 cruise organised by kellie, and every 1 was told at the start "if you act like a dick you will be reported to the police". that was with out police present.....if the cops do show up to see what we are doing then see what is said at the start, maybe they will leave sau/sa alone after a few meets.

    as for the defects side, i think police should pay more attention to the $200 shit boxes on the roads that have more rust than panels, breaks that dont work, tires that are bald.....these cars are dangerous on the road. from what i have seen/ heard most ppl that own an import are car enthusiests, who spend most of thier time / money upgrading thier car to have better handleing, breaking and road holding. as import owners we should be able to stand proudly beside our cars, not pushed under ground like "bikies". and if you get pulled over for being a tool you should not complain about it, just learn from it.

    only my opinion tho.....

    i hate ppl that look at our 31 like it's just another shopping trolly....

    or the looks you get when giving a wave to others on the road from said 31......

    the wankers up my street in their commonwhores that persist in doing burnouts at 3am for the lenth of the street.....

    tools that give false information regarding modafications to cars they have never even been around.....

    wankers that ring up for stufff you have advertised then dont show up, or call to say they arent comming, and cock heads that SMS questions about adverts in the paper, ( do i look like i am made of money ) i figure if i advetise something and pay $60 to the trading post ppl should have the decency to call and not expect me to call them.........

    Removing Sticker From Paint

    i used a heat gun and plastic applicators ( putty ) to remove the factory stickers on the side of my wifes 4 door...... they came off but left a residue on the car that wont come off.. i've tried wax & grease remover, thinners, eucalyptus oil, hot soapy water, etc etc...... will be repainting the area after i sand it off me thinks..... :down:

    pretty cool shopping trolley, :) not much of a front wheel drive car myself, but its cool none the less. a mate of mine had a civic that i could beat in a straight line but thru the hills he killed my torry. :)

    as for your grilling about the post not being skyline related i posted a thread about being a dad and didnt get flamed, or told i should be on a pregnancy site..........whats the difference??? :D

    cars: r31 gts-x & 4 dr

    mods: 4 dr= extractors, 2.5'' exhaust, new lifters, oil pump, cam, extreme clutch...not much really

    Gts-x = find out when it gets here.. but it has a vg30 turbo, exhaust, some extra gauges.....

    est price spent on car: 4 dr = 8k including purchace

    gts-x $8000. soon to be lots i spose

    other interests? my wife, our miniture poodle, driving, socialising & lots of other shit
