hi, When you installed the new thermostate did you have the small air bleed valve at the top? maybe the cooing system had a air pocket behind the thermostate. It does happen sometimes

The ryco z145a is bigger than the genuine filter, The z145a is the same filter as they used on the r32/r33 skyline , n14/n15 pulsar 15208h8911 genuine filter.

How much are the genuine GTR filters?

I think they are around $15 to $18 not 100% sure just ring your local nissan dealer, They should have them in stock as they are used on other nissan vehicles.

Hi, Had a look at work today, the part number that comes up for a r34 gt-r rb26dett is 15208-53J0A, i use the same oil filter on my r33 gtr.
