  1. I would splice it off the cd player but thats a constant 12v wire rather than an illumination wire. I found a solution and that was to run the wire to the fuse for the headlights all i did was wrapped the wire around the prong on the fuse and put it back in the fuse holder, it works perfectly
  2. hey guys i am putting a boost gauge in my r32, i went to hook up the 12v wire to the cig lighter but that didnt work so i tested the wires with a multimeter and theres no power there, the previous owner has made a bit of a mess of the wiring around there. my next idea was the dimmer switch but unforntunatly it doesnt have one. can anyone tell me which wire to use on the headlight switch? or which colour wires to look for for the cig lighter? or any other ideas i would prefer to have it on a (lights on) wire but mite have to just go to any 12v wire. any help would be much appreciated cheers corin
  3. hey guys got some parts up for sale trying to get some more room in my garage r32 dash in good cond with all the vents intact except the round drivers one - $150 r32 5 stud rotors front and rear still a fair bit of meat left on them - $100 r32 stock springs and kyb shocks no leaks - $150 r32 hicas pump and steering arms - $80 rb20det coilpack cover - $40 also got some s13 seats, 2 sets of drive belts - ca18det & sr20det - offers may swap items for a boost controller, r34 turbo or stock r32 wheels

  5. 92 R32, Rb20det, 5 spd manual, maroon 2 door coupe The car is very clean inside, the paint and panel work is excellent the engine runs well and the gearbox is smooth and tight. This is one of the tidiest r32 around the previous owner had it for 6 years and they have kept it in great condition and well maintained always serviced every 5000kms, only run on 98 octane, cambelt was done at 80,000kms, new heavy duty clutch at 110,000 kms, changed the gearbox & diff oils when i bought the car about a year ago. the car has 17'' alloys lowered on tein coilovers 3'' mandrel bent exhaust hybrid fmic r32 gtr injectors r34 high flow turbo 500hp fuel pump fuel pressure reg k&n pod filter genuine hks bov boost tap running 10psi boost gauge r32 gtr strut brace tinted windows alarm/immobilser pioneer speakers all round with tweeters kenwood iPod/iPhone headunit the car is really nice to drive and is pretty quick it made 267bhp running only 14psi may swap for a cheap ute with at least 5k my way

  10. Hey tested it on my mate 32 yesti and his one doesn't reset when u turn the ignition off, but it does when u disconnect the bat, anyways looks like I'll have to get an auto sparky to have a look
  11. Really I'm sure in other 32 s I've had it wud stay on 18 deg wen u turn it off then on again, will test it on my mates 32. Hopefully I just need a regas aye. Thanks mate
  12. Hi all awesome thread handy info cheers guys, my ac prob is abit diff. All the sensors and that seem to be swt but the ac blows ambient air and when I turn it on and off it always resets and goes back to 25 degrees. Anyone had a similar prob? Or able to help? Thanks Corin
