  1. Guy told me rebuild was done in Australia, and he has reciepts. I will see if I can find out who did it... see if anyone knows them.
  2. Yeah, i figured that a good tune on a dyno keeping 11.6-12 afr should keep it from detonating. If all else fails, I'll just run it on 116 all the time, as I only drive these cars on the weekends and such. Still, if I could do it on pump gas I could have a little more fun. I am just used to the 4G63, which will take about all the crap you can throw at it and keep ticking (The 500whp pull was at 35psi, on race gas with all forged, though.)
  3. K, I will make sure to check on that. I appreciate the advice. I have read a lot of threads on here, but I was wondering if someone could summarize for me if this motor will be able to hold 450-500rwhp with a GT35R turbo and a standalone EMS. I am mildly worried about the internals. Thanks guys...
  4. You guys seem to be smart enough, so I was wondering if I could run something by you. I am getting rid of my 500whp Galant and thinking instead of getting a 240sx with a RB30/25 hybrid. The guy says he bought and had the block built in australia, and that the car was put together right. I was hoping you could look at the parts list and give me some pointers as to what questions might be the right ones. Thanks. I love my 240 and would never think about selling it but ive run into some serious money troubles. Its pretty much done expect for a little body work and to get painted. The car Runs and drives great with no problems at all. This is not my daily driver but could definitely be used as one without any problems at all. My costs into this car are well over $13,000. I know im not going to get near that much out of it.MODS: Silvia front end conversion, 10000k HID's, Carbon Fiber Silvia hood, Tanabe Springs, z32 front brakes, SS brake lines, Megan tie rods, megan toe rods, megan tension rods, megan RUCA's, z32 VLSD, Walbro 255lph Fuel pump, AEM Uego wideband, AEM fuel pressure gauge, AEm boost gauge, 3inch Test pipe, 3inch Catback, Engine: RB30det, Rb30e Block rebuilt, Rb25de head cleaned, Rb25det s2 cams (retains VVT), Greddy Intake Plenum, Q45 Throttle body, Rb25det Neo injectors, Q45 MAF, NGK BRK6e plugs, Mishimoto Radiator (never overheats), Nismo Slave cylinder, Rb26dett valve covers, z32 fuel filter, Ported exhaust manifold, Rb25det neo turbo ported with stage 3 wheel, ported exhaust housing, Rb25det oil pan, Rb25det front sump oil pickup, Greddy timing belt, ACT stage 4 unsprung clutch, Mckinney 1 piece driveshaft, mckinney motor mounts, Mckinney Trans mount, mobile 1 synthetic oil, redline trans fluid FMIC w/ 2.5in piping oil catch can here is 2 videos of the car
  5. Here's a question. I am looking at selling my DSM to get a 240sx with a RB30 hybrid. You guys seem to know what your talking about, so Ill ask. I know next to nothing about RB motors, as they are tough to come by stateside, so I am looking for some ideas or questions to ask the guy. Here is what he says about the engine: Walbro 255lph Fuel pump, AEM Uego wideband, AEM fuel pressure gauge, AEm boost gauge, 3inch Test pipe, 3inch Catback, Engine: RB30det, Rb30e Block rebuilt, Rb25de head cleaned, Rb25det s2 cams (retains VVT), Greddy Intake Plenum, Q45 Throttle body, Rb25det Neo injectors, Q45 MAF, NGK BRK6e plugs, Mishimoto Radiator (never overheats), Nismo Slave cylinder, Rb26dett valve covers, z32 fuel filter, Ported exhaust manifold, Rb25det neo turbo ported with stage 3 wheel, ported exhaust housing, Rb25det oil pan, Rb25det front sump oil pickup, Greddy timing belt, ACT stage 4 unsprung clutch, Mckinney 1 piece driveshaft, mckinney motor mounts, Mckinney Trans mount, mobile 1 synthetic oil, redline trans fluid FMIC w/ 2.5in piping oil catch can here is 2 videos of the car
