  1. Has anyone had experience with one of these tacho's? I've installed it, now trying to setup the cylinders and warning for oil pressure and water temp.

It's constantly beeping showing OP on the display, it did this as soon as it got power. I'm taking a guess this is the warning for Oil pressure, I've tested connecting the oil pressure sensor and also have a separate gauge which shows the pressure is fine, but still the warning is going off.

I do have the manual and have followed it, but it seems as though it's not accepting the inputs as I'd expect it to. I've also set the cylinders to 6 but it's still showing the revs too high. Is there a way to reset these and start from factory default settings?

  2. I have the following parts for sale, all have been recently removed from my own gtr (within a couple months) and are in working order.

2x R33 GTR standard turbos with exhaust manifolds - $350

    - Turbos never ran more than 11-12 psi as I was the first to install a boost controller.

1x Standard clutch with NISMO flywheel - $300

    6x Yellowjacket coil packs approx 9,000km old - $250

    - upgraded to splitfires as these started to produce a slight missfire at 320kw

    6x Standard RB26 Coil Packs - $200

    6x Standard RB26 440cc injectors - $200

Standard GTR fuel pump - $50

Standard GTR Front pipe - $100

    - only scrapes on the scuff plates no dents on pipes

    Standard RB26 Cam gears (in & ex) - $75

Standard Intercooler and piping - $150

    - few bent fins, wouldn't affect efficiency

    Located Sunshine Coast QLD.

  3. I did use some timber planks at the old place, was ok for that driveway but not the new one. When I would go up being a gtr the front wheels would kick them out but by that time the lip was already raised so it didn't matter.

If i were to dyno bolt them down may as well make it a permanent thing with a metal plate...

  4. anyone know of a good/cheap place to get a decent sized metal plate? i need it for my driveway, just moved house and i can't get the gtr up. you know them curved gutters, its that but seems to be a little higher than the norm.

I checked out a metal place in kunda park but they wanted almost 200 for a plate.

Can anyone get one on the cheap?

  5. This is possible with VMware's Thin App. Basically it allows to you create a portable version of any application you want to. Start off with a clean windows build, run Thin App and it pretty much records the install process and packages it up into a standalone exe (it has sub folders with other required files).

But of course this comes with a price - and possibly only available in a bundle with other VM software/licensing...
