  1. The price is very reasonable, shame you're not in Vic...
  2. Hey mate, just curious as to the differences between the 2510 and the 2530 for an RB20? In terms of power, response, etc.
  3. Thanks for the suggestion eMsta, I'll be doing it myself but I'll keep him in mind for the future.
  4. Okay thanks Rekin. If Statustuning still offer the 300V change for $200, it could be worth checking out... given that 4 litres of 300V is around the $100 mark on its own anyway. At least I've got somewhere to start now, I'll be sure to give those shops a call.
  5. Cheers for the link JamesK, I've got the day off tomorrow so I'll give it a good read.
  6. Hi all, a service for my car is long overdue, and I just have a couple of basic questions. Firstly, I'm looking for a shop in Melbourne to get a service but I'm not sure where to start looking. Perhaps someone could PM me some recommendations or if there is a thread covering this already, a link would be great! Secondly, is it worth spending approx. twice as much on Motul 300V as opposed to something cheaper like 8100 turbolight? My car is a fairly stock '92 R32 used for daily driving, but looking at some track time in the near future. Also, apart from the obvious oil/filter and other fluids, what else is covered in a regular service? Anyway help would be greatly appreciated...
  7. Hey mate, any idea if this is the same for RB20?
  8. Hey mate, any idea what width spacers would be needed for r32 gts-t brakes?
  9. Yeah, I've heard great things about the turbo too. I've been considering a 2530 for some time now, just have to decide if I want to spend the extra cash, or go for a cheaper alternative. I guess it always comes back to the "you get what you pay for" situation...
  10. I'm curious as to how the 25/30 is different to the stock rb20 turbo in terms of size and also response, if anyone knows?
  11. Okay that makes sense. It's pretty damn sticky then... Anyway around it?
  12. Sorry to bring this topic back from the dead, but I just tried removing the GTR wing from my GTS-T bootlid(just out of interest really, might put it back on or perhaps a GTS-T wing). Anyway, I removed the four obvious nuts(2 from each pillar, the only ones I could find) and expected it to just lift right off, but it didn't. Are there any other nuts that I need to remove? Perhaps there's some glue there or over time it's seized together... but I didn't want to pull too hard at risk of breaking something. Any ideas?
  13. Looks fantastic mate. This is what i'll be after when i'm off my Ps. Silver looks sick on R32 GTRs.
  14. Sorry mate, but what kind of kit do ya mean?
  15. Haha, I'm glad you said that... I was getting worried that 500 was the amount I was going to have to cough up. Dealing with mechanics is still new to me. Moodles, cheers for the link, very likely I'll be buying from there. Now if only I knew where the leak is coming from I wouldn't have to buy both...
  16. actually just came across a thread with some good info(forgot to check suspension and braking section). sorry for bad thread.
  17. Hi all, The clutch fluid has been leaking consistently from my r32 for the past month or so, and I have just been refilling it when needed. However, I think it's about time I had it fixed. I recieved a quote from a workshop of around $500 to replace the slave/master cylinders(with new items I believe), but I am wondering if there are any other options. Is it a good idea to replace both cylinders(assuming only one is faulty)? How about wreckers... or is this just asking for more trouble? anyone had this problem before? Help would be great, cheers.
  18. Haha, I was just kidding around. I have only been pulled over once though, losing traction coming out of a round-about, cop just told me to behave. Was a female cop, so maybe she was just super impressed by my 'fully sick wheels.' Anyway, I guess a large part of it is about the mood they happen to be in, and the manner in which you treat them.
  19. This is a bit dissappointing, I've never been pulled over. It sounds like fun... perhaps someone could give me a few pointers on how to do it?
  20. I have stock r32 gts-t rims with roadworthy tyres if you're keen.
  21. Work Meisters. 19s? They're sexy as anything, I would love to see how they look on my r32.
