  1. I have a 92 zxr250c & if you want a more race oriented bike get one of these or a cbr250rr, dont bother with the single r unless its really good value they are more a nanna's bike, although still better than a across or the like! The zxr feels slightly bigger so if you a bigger lad maybe better. As for the power of a big ie: litre class bike revhead is right, i had a ride or 2 on a mates cbr900 a couple of days ago & the first ride just blew me away with how much acceleration they have, & how easy to whellie. To give you an idea, 2nd gear @ 100km's flick the clutch & feed the power on & up she comes, it's just awesome fun & this is a 94 model so would be down a little on power compared to Revheads929 or a R1!
  2. Why wouldnt the power fc work with the auto? auto has a seperate computer! Mates 300zx has a n/a trans computer in it to make it change harder & think the main differance is the n/a ecu doesnt get connected to the engine ecu!

  4. I own a zxr250c 92 model & have great fun with it! If you want to have the most performance on your restricted licence then the RGV would be the best, but if you like me want low maintenance & still reasonable (ie better than gpx/zzr/vtr) performance go with a zxr/cbr they are much better but more costly to buy! And remember! 1. Always ride fast enough to stay out in front of the tintops & be prepared to cop the fines etc! 2. Make sure you are capable of riding the bike well enough to keep away from the tintops! 3. Treat EVERY car driver as thou they are trying to kill you because whether it's deliberate or not they are!
  5. Hey adam32 if you look on the HPI drag ladder there is another 300zx with the same lack of mods as TTZ's & it's only 1/10th slower! Although it does say croydon autosports is his tuner? But TTZ is an aircraft engineer so he should be able to make his car fly!?
  6. yep!
  7. will he believe me know?
  8. ok then just thought he ended up in the 12's!
  9. Didn't sub zero run a high 12 with a near stock auto R33? try09's in its early days? thought used 20deg timing avgas&toluene, 14psi & good tyres?doesn't he post on here?
  10. yeah as skyzerr33 said! all nissan!
  11. Just trying to post/attach video!
  12. I have worked out how to have a video! http://au.msnusers.com/TT300ZX/Documents/z...%2012%20run.wmv
  13. Hey check this out : http://au.msnusers.com/TT300ZX/general.msn...=1&ID_Message=1
  14. And sorry to rob for hijacking & talking BS! But as i said in my earlier posts, i was just using a car that i know its weight as it has been on a weighbridge, i was at Cramers dyno in Toowoomba when it got dynoed & i was there the night it ran the 12sec 1/4 times! mod: i sent u a pm on how to post a link
  15. Want to post the video of a run but can't due to being in wmv?
  16. Can anybody help me? I have a video off a mates 1/4run but its a windows movie maker type & when itry to post it ont he forum it won't let me can i change it to post on here? do i have to change it to post on here?
  17. Thanks adam! as i said it knocked me back for the video, but i am willing to add it if you can tell me how! you still don't believe even after TTZ showing his time slips? dude check the HPI ladder there is even another z with similar time & mods! But as i said I will post video if you can tell me how!
  18. thers the time from TTZ's best pass @ willowbank! i tried to attach the whole run but it knocked me back something about the wrong type of file?
  19. here tis! hopefully
  20. Why did the mod edit our posts? I didn't think they were bad, i was just asking a question of adam & then merely replied to his! I can also post the video of TTZ's 12sec runs but am not sure how?
  21. Why are you people spending BIG$$$$ on nitto drag tyres? Why not just get some soft compound retreads? I have a set of 185/50/14's cost $110 each tyre i think plus i asked for them to have some grooves so they put 2 zigzag grooves all the way around so that the cops can't hassle you! Anyways mates LX torana ran 11.38 @119mph on a set of 265 retreads think were $150ea? anyways we get them from a place in Toowoomba called Big Tyre! think they were originally doing them for dirt track but some of the dragrace people started using them & seem really good & when you get them spinning they make the best screechy sound!
  22. Mod edit: removed due to nature and tone of post.
  23. Adam 32 i was using this as a guideline to power to weight ratio like steve & Rev 210 pointed out maybe the dyno's/ operators are wrong cause 270 rwhp in a skyline should run at least 110mph or better if it is making this power seeing as the 300TT is heavier yet makes similar power & has run this mph! And refering to this bullshit mate's Zed did run this time there were at least 5 or 6 members from www.drivelinechatter.com @ willowbank plus 5 or 6 of us from Roma that witnessed the runs of TTZ32 & from memory he provided the timeslips on the forum as proof! Just because your mates ZXTT with a millonbucks spent on it is slow doesn't mean that someone else who has spent approx$2000 can't equal him! Subzero even ran a high 12 from memory with a R33 with similar mods to TTZ32 so there is the proof that it is possible! Actually while on the subject TTZ32 is listed on HPI's drag ladder as well! By the way how fast or slow? is your 32?
  24. so these people pretend to hump your exhaust? why wouldn't they just go to a gay bar if thats what they want?
  25. yes & no i think you will find that mph is one of the best indicators of hp cause you can wheelspin quite abit & still get a big mph or a crappy launch eg bog down & still run big mph! yet this will affect your et but not mph!
