Im sorry but I dont believe a pre-00 WRX would have a GTST at the drag strip. Ive been out to my local (willowbank) plenty of times and stock WRX's run mid 15's whereas 33 ST's are high 13 low 14ish cars...
sorry i didnt mean drag strip, im talking about the street.
no one ever goes the full 400m and unfortunately roads are never as smooth as drag strips.... hands down to wrx

dont know why ppl hate the wrx but here are my thoughts.
would destroy 90% of the GTSTs out there period
would destroy 100% of the GTSts out there in the wet
superior AWD system compared to yoru current gtst (i know it makes drifting hard but its a compromise)
gearbox issue was only ever in the pre 00 models, you defiently wont get that if yous tick to something like 03-08 models.
Evolution editions of wrx come with leather sunroof and all that standard.

Better resale potential to P platers as i believe its legal on green Ps =D
and personally the f*kn best sounding exhaust note ever. everyone knows when a wrx is comming....

you cant anodize cast properly.....you will need to get them stripped and polished,spray them with an adhesion promoter,dillute some candy dye in 2K clear and spray them...i did mine and they look like thisthats pretty impressive buddy. im after something like this though

hey guys just lookn for some anodizers to anodize my rb26 covers. tried yellow pages but very few around. and would like to know if anyone has had any experience and recommend anyone?

you can buy a brand new garrett turbo but youll have lil to choose from, because if you pick something to big your gonna have to change the exhaust manifold and a bunch of other crap.
your lookn at $1000+
you can highflow your turbo or you can highflow a r34 turbo which is even bigger. and youd be lookna t 220-260rwkw

i defiently do like the rear gurads but like what you said, not a big fan of a few things like the front guards, just a bit to sharpe and overdone. also not a fan of the front bar.
ideally id be doing something like that but replacing the front bar and guards.
with the amount these things are worth maybe you might wanna go custom?

no offence sammy but have you ever liked any other front bars? i feel like the c west you have atm is letting your car down so much. of course this is my personal thought.
liek you said its a bit beatn up so why not use it as an excuse to get something else ?

haha thats what my mrs says. I like it loud, tells the person next to me to watch out, lol. Just love the echoing noise in tunnels and the constant hum, e.t.c...
youll defiantly want to go titanium then, defiantly the loudest exhausts there is, or straight pipe stainless steel.
still comes down to how much money you have....let us know and we'll better answer you

theres also the "Blitz Nur Spec" Exhaust, sounds quite sick......you can pick one up for around $900, but i saw someone on saw selling a used one for $600bux

alot of the guys in the US have been experimenting with large compressor housings combined with smaller rear housings to maximize air velocity with turbos.
for example using a t04z compressor housing with a 35r rear.
but do they actually bolt up?
im not a expert on turbos i can understand how increasing velocity though the turbine would have massive benefits, but how exactly are rear and compressor housing connected? and are they all universal? and is it possible?
thoughts?
