  2. There is the Annual nissan day at Queensland raceway on Tuesday, good turn out of club members there for the morning session

On a Tuesday? That's not cool for us working people :P May I ask how you knew of this event to begin with??

  3. Awesome can't wait for the SCC10 =) If you need a hand with anything let me know I'll be more then happy to help where I can. ..oh and we have to have a show and shine this year lolz I thought last years was good fun!

    StreetFame33

That's just coz you've got something to show n shine about

  4. My car was lowered by a previous owner. I've just replaced my tyres, but previous set had the uneven feathered wear. I've been told that tending to camber arms will improve the problem, but not 100% fix it ...but these were also tyres that delaminated from the inside for something different :s

  5. ....just hope my finance gets approved coz Esanda doesnt want to touch it...and banks want credit card interest rates for it

any advice on the best place to get a loan would be appreciated ( I need about 13k ..if that matters)

I went through St George and the rate I got was no different to when I had loan through them for an 04 R8 Clubsport. Having said that, I've banked with them for a very long time - so it might pay to check out who you've banked with longest, they might look after you better.

  6. Finally did it, cracked them out and replaced with new parts....

Hm, driver side went ok, but I cracked my passenger side (the old one)...

    pics here....

    post-328-1252110330_thumb.jpg

So becareful anyone attempted this, they need some medium-hard yank down the bottom side with a flat head

then work your way carefully to dislodge the side clips, dont force them cos obviously they're a bit fragile...

Of course this is if you plan to put them back on, e.g. just for removing door trim purposes for speaker install, etc...

If you plan to replace them like mine, don't worry, crack it, break it, dump it. :-)

I'm also keeping the box lids where they've got the part # on in case I need to re-order new ones in case they're broken again....

    Left (passenger) = 80945-AM800

    Right (driver) = 80944-AM800

THESE WILL ONLY FIT V35 COUPES! (Sedan has different slant angle)

So what do you think went wrong with the one that cracked??

  7. How long have you owned your V35 for? 6 MONTHS

Where did you buy it from? (import, private, dealer): PRIVATE (he'd only just imported it through my friends car yard a few months prior)

What type of V35? (Coupe/Sedan,Manual/Auto): AUTO

How much did you pay for it? 28K

How many problems/faults have you had with it (please give detail): NONE *touch wood*

How much has it costed repairing these problems?:

How much do you get out of a full tank of petrol?: EST. 600km

And lastly, 0-100, how fast do you reckon? Who knows, fast enough to keep me happy ...for now :D

  8. I'm gonna re-try & yank it harder tomorrow if that didn't break them... looks like it just need to be pried hard, no screws, but looking how the thin plastic cap flexes I'm not sure if it'll survive...

will let you know how i go...

if they break not sure how that'll affect the accuracy of your mould

Sorry to re-hash ...but did you end up getting them off in one piece?

I'm super keen to get some new ones and wouldn't mind knowing beforehand how tough these are to get off.
