I'm also trying to do this sorta' thing. I've got an Apexi AVCR and wanna put in a Vi-pec ecu, and then run the combined load of readouts through my laptop. Anybody got any idea if that's even feasible?

I second that. Waynes had mine done in about 40 minutes, which meant I just wandered next door and looked at racing parts and GO-Karts for a bit. Also managed to skim the whole thing off the insurance "unlimited windows" clause too =]

will my blitz info metre still work after wolf 3d is installed? am i able to piggy back the sensors or something, its reading off the diagnostics plug
Hey man, I ran over this completely by accident, but since there are very limited Skylines in gooseberry hill running Wolf ecu's I figure you're talking about the same Blitz info reader that I was going to buy off you earlier in the week?
I've just realised how ridiculously poor I actually am for the next few weeks and my A'Pexi avcr seems to do that kinda stuff anyway, so I'm afraid I won't be able to take it off you dude. I'll leave it at my work or with Nicole or something for you dude.

just wanna know everyones feedback who has one..
im getting one installed in 2 weeks in my r33 which only has fmic and c/b exhaust..
would be great if someone would take me for a ride to see what they are like.. prefferably with similar mods to mine to see power gain etc!!

I'm also saving for one of these on my 33. When I bought it it'd been stripped and so I'm not even sure what effective mods it has, but it's got some form of new exhaust that I've yet to work out, pod filter, running 9 pound, and I've put in a walbro 550hp fuel pump. Before the fuel pump it was running 216 hp =]
Could you tell us how is goes and possibly what it comes to on a dyno once it's in? Also how much are you paying man? And which Vi-Pec model does everybody use? (Sorry for all the questions, but I've been keen on one of these for quite a while =])
Also, does that sound like a reasonable power for that list to anybody? My friend's convinced that completely stock he's at 250hp... Complete and utter waffle, I think; since he's also the same guy who spun out on the saturday cruise in perth and was laughed at so much he went home.

SO embarrassed to admit this, but the 33 that spun out was a friend of mine on his first cruise.
I was at work, just finishing when he called to say he was leaving the cruise, since he was going to tell me where it was when I finished. Seriously, like f**k that car couldn't read maps, or apparently drive =D
I mean... Did anybody else think that Challenge Stadium was the last stop of the cruise at any point?
Also, cheers to Dan/Olivia/Tobin for all getting the membership pack to me =] working out how bank stuff works now.
Also Tobin I'll challenge you for a ride in that civic!

just go to a random channel on cb's usually from memory 8 and 1 r not the best to use a few truckies use them try like in the 30's should be all good

Hey, on the thread for the Faint-Hearted cruise there was a note about using UVF(I think) radios and the like. Anybody got any advice on that?
I'm trying to find a better way of communicating between my friends (who're all newbies) that span 3 33's a supra and a wrx [who're all coming on the 30th], but I don't wanna find we spend the whole night on somebody else's channel pissing them off or whatnot.
Anything from somebody who does, or has done this before would be sweet.

Haha yeah that integra sounds f**kin' sweet, I noticed that as it overtook me a few times.
Apparently the dude who got pulled over didn't get anything though?
Seriously, it was like I had a police-bubble around me all night, no matter how close I came to getting done for anything it just didn't happen. I got pulled up, drug and alcohol tested, had a policewoman try to yellow sticker me, and then asked her supervisor to do it, and he promptly looked over the fact that I'm missing my entire front grill and have the usual floating-pod-filter, and let me go; that undercover cop decided not to actually hand anybody a fine, and the speed camera we all passed just before Rockingham didn't seem to get anybody.... Something was wacky that night... And that, I seriously liked =D
Didn't see you at the truckstop though? Only a few people were left by that point though hey.

I don't finish woork till late enough to make the start, but as my friend's buying a 280hp 33 that morning I figure we're basically obliged to break him in straight away.
Also, despite the fact that I'm very new, welcome Olivia, if my possee come introduce ourselves at a meet point I'm a fellow p-plater with really long hair that you seriously won't be able to miss.

wow, my R33 does *exactly* the same thing. I have NFI what it is though....
I'm not even kidding, sitting here thinking EXACTLY the same thing.
Somebody told me that having an aftermarket ecu was going to be the problem with the idle spin, and coincidentally a friend's brother has just advised me to install an A'PEXi Power FC, which I'll probably do this week. Does this sound like it'll fix my problem?
'Twas pretty embarassing pulling into the carpark for the cruise last night and having my car choose that specific point at which this would happen regularly

While you're away Olivia, CJ, Tobin and I thought we'd try and hold the fort by organising a cruise for the 19/20th. About to post initially about it now =] Since you're kinda cheif of those sorta things are you cool with that?
