    4wd Light?

Well my s1 stag's 4wd warning light is coming on of late, never seen it before. Car is still drivable, usually pulling over and switching her off and on solves it. I recently put new tie rod ends in, replaced 2 tyres and got a wheel alignment. The 2 tyres I replaced are a different brand, but still the same size. I did a search and saw some old threads suggesting wheel sizes could be the cause, but would any of the above works possibly have caused it? If so what should I do? Is it something I should be trying to fix, or will it sort itself out? Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers.
  2. rubyrs4 if your in the warrnambool area that would be great! Still stuck here, bursons cant get a walbro for a week or two, trying nissan and other spare parts dealers now
  3. thanks mate I'll see how it goes on tuesday!
  4. well my series 1 stag started to have problems just as i was passing through warnnambool, started losing power at about 3000 revs. I made it to a campsite i had planned to stay at in peterborough, however now it wont start without banging under the fuel tank, and shortly dies thereafter. So im stuck here untill tuesday with my only hope being to tow to warnnambool to get it done. Does anyone know the part number for the fuel pump or what local cars share the same one? Also would my best hope be trying the nissan dealer in warnnambool, or any other suggestions? Anyone live around this area? Cheers
  5. $400 or make me an offer for 4 of these... They came with my stagea when I bought it, appear to never have been used so 100% rubber etc. I don't want them and they are just taking up space in my shed. I'm in the Port Adelaide area. PM or email [email protected] Cheers
  6. Just thought I'd resurrect this and say I got round to getting a new O2 sensor fitted with limited results. It definitely runs better but still feels very sluggish as if it will stall during low speed maneuvers, so it was worth doing but it didn't fix it. I guess I'll try AAC valve and plugs next.
  7. Nah. Don't know what a castor bush is... You'll have to excuse my lack of mechanical knowledge, but on the last service (done by previous owner) it was noted there were cracks in the radius rod bushes(?). Would this be worth looking into? cheers again
  8. Hi all, Well I'm having some more, almost minor problems with my s1 stagea. Occasionally (e.g once every few drives), usually during breaking or situations where the throttle is closed, my stagea pulls to the left, as if the alignment is quite off - which its not as 95% of the time when this doesn't happen it's perfect. It only lasts a few seconds and usually straightens itself out pretty quick so its not terribly critical, but it sure is annoying. I'm in the process of fixing a few problems which I had when I bought it (not long ago) as can be seen in this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pr...ea-t269756.html So any ideas or experiences? Brakes? power steering? Suspension or something? Or does it sound like an automatic control problem? Cheers
  9. Yeah that was me. Saw you zoom past in your black s2, looked sick. I've only had my car for a week and your stagea was the first one I've encountered since driving it!
  10. I'm going to Tokyo in september. Anything on that period?
  11. Sweet cheers for that, I'll let you know.
