  1. Hey all

    So i got a problem. My navi unit have shit itself and dosnt work properly and now it keeps the screen on all the time even with the engine off and keys out. I disconnected it from the back but then it automatically turns the air con on. Just looking for a way to turn it off and by pass the air con. Ive tried taking out the air con fuses aswell as the navi unit.

    Any help would be great

  2. So instead of putting the F piece back on the bypassed the solenoid and just put the intercooler hose straight to the turbo and they had the boost sensor and another hose mixed up for what i found with a vacum diagram i found for a neo.

  3. I intend on getting a tune soon, i have platnuim plugs in at the moment. I went through the whole system a few months back to check for leaks and i couldnt find any i changed all the clamps aswell. Ill take the boost off and see if that changes it.

    I did have an adverage mechanic fit a check it awhile ago but they screwed around with my turbo hoses and now half them arnt even hooked up.

  4. I have stock turbo, 3inch cat back, stock injectors, fmic and a bleed set at 10, sparks were change a few months ago and were gapped a .8 instead of .11 to try and fix the issue.

    Still having problems, i have a intermitent misfire problem, it was kicking into limp mode every now and then. So try and fix it i changed the coilpacks, coilpack loom and the afm, only other thought is injectors? Could that be causing it?

    Any help would be great

  6. Hey everyone

    So my series 2 rs-v is being shit again, lately it has been put itself into limp mode after a coil pack stutter but after a few seconds stops and then drives fine but keeps the warning lights up on the dash.

    I have had the coil packs replaced in january with super sparks and just had my plugs gapped to .8 and still has the same problem, i took it to nissan to see what fault code it would throw out and it said it was an ignigtion problem. Its just hard to pin point.

    Any help would be great.

  7. Na i have had them all replaced recently, it sounds more mechanical if that makes sense.

    I was told my turbo is in pretty good condition aswell its running high on the psi but dosen't boost cut and it really only happens when it has gotten warmed up or its a hot day.

  8. Hey all

    My series 2 stagea has started playing up, sometimes when i try to start it up it wont fire everything is cracking but it just dosnt start. It happen and i had to call RAA and when he rocked up he put a squirt of fuel into the pipe at the rear of the plenum for the boost gauge, and it fired start away but kept running.

    Its a strange fuel problem just wondering if any one else has had this issue before

  9. Hey all

    I have a decent oul leak but im not sure where its is coming from, my mechanic has looked at it and thought it might be the rocker cover gasket.. Changed that, changed manfold gasket and turbo gasket. The oil is dripping from the steering rack and tie rods so i ruled out it being from the sump but just still racking ny brain as to where it is coming from.

    Any suggestions?

Ok i got it sort i read through other install pages and found that it was due to not knowing enough, was just around the wrong way, its at 12psi but its still getting a little boost cut but not as bad as it was. I also took off the hoses going to the solenoid as i say that before and alot of people had done the same so if it works for them it will work for me.

  11. It was 2 gaskets the manifold gasket and the turbo gasket but i looked at the diagram that came with it and i pretty sure it was set up correctly, and there isnt any indicators on it to say which is which.

  12. Hey all

    Just wanting to know which way is high and low boost on a boost t? Also i have had it on my car for awhile and it ran 12psi fine, but i had a gasket leak which i have just fixed, now its fixed the car is hitting boost cut bad and i havnt changed the psi at all, any suggestions why

  13. I bought a cooling pro fmic from just jap and it uses the original piping holes and it works great you gave to do a few minor adjustments to your front bar and relocate your horns and trans cooler if you have one but other than that its good. Good price easy fitment.

    I was poking around under the dash the other day when i was putting in a boost gauge and i would a 3 prongded female plug, kind of like this.....

    I got to thinking that it looked like a turbo timer plug so i found an old timer and hooked it up, but nothing happened, is there any way to find out what brand it is or if it works or not?
