  1. Dunno about the ceffy community mang, I've not been around for long enough. I do know, however, if there's someone in need and they come to us, well. Yeah. We're there.

Helping people is what car culture should be about. Hanging out, working on each others cars, driving around, just generally chilling. Not doing skids then running from cops or getting your car impounded every other week.

    Just jokes kev :P

  2. I'm pretty sure the internet apart from my facebook hasn't seen mine yet.

SOooooooo I will add to the page 4 of awesomeness.

Granted she's not quite as sexy as yours, rowan. But, I love it nonetheless. =D

I've decided, I'm gonna take the new engine, take the head off and put my head back onto it. Using either a cometic 1.2mm Multi-layered steel, or a similar goodness in *wait for it. wait for it. wait for it* Tomei. Hmmmm... Oh and ARP head bolts. Gotta do it right, first time.

You've sort of inspired the 1.2mm idea a little there Rowan. Response and high-comp is where I wanna be. Boost is cool, but I prefer response and torque. Plus, NEVER ran anything more than 9psi mafugga. Miiight boost to 11 or 12 if it can handle it but chyeah, that's it.

Trouble is, no fuggin idea where I'm getting a head gasket THIS WEEK.

Or where the cashish is coming from. Hmm... Gayness.

    ROWAN. f**kING GYAAA.

Wanna come to Northam friday night bra?

Edit: I do realise it's Northam, and there's 8000 more things better to do than watch me tinker on the 25. But meh, if you're bored.

  3. Lucky we found it then, I guess. Hmm.

Spent like three straight days going from rolling 20e auto shell to turning-over 25de manual. methinks some dirty f**ker wanted us to fail horribly no matter what.

Thanks guys. Will have to rip out the box and find where it goes.

  4. I see what you mean about soarer drivers now. but that one... perfect gaps. if it WAS repaired from damage it was a fkn good one.

The grille is soooo shiny... D-rool. Too fly mang.'

BUT IT'S NOT f**kING LOW ENOUGH.

Seriously. Man. Dude. Bro. Drop it. Pharrell williams that shit. PLz? I'll suck your jagons.

I've got people I know with guard-rollers. But alas it's another trip to the country if you want my hookups. Otherwise heaps of people do them in the city don't they?

Also, would you ever consider an LSD?

  5. Fooling around on the weekend, and had to drop the inexistant fluid from the RB20DET gearbox (had already been dropped previously).

Went to undo the 1/2" drain-plug at the bottom of the gearbox, and a little bit of thick sludge came off with the plug. In that sludge, was this part:

    2vng8cm.jpg

It's a roll pin. i can't remember the dimensions of it, and I don't have the part with me atm.

I have NO CLUE where they go as I've never had a box apart.

Anyone shed some light on this thing i.e. if we drive without the roll pin will it explode?

  6. Man.

What an EPIC week we've just had.

    Sunday night - rolling shell.

    all week to

Saturday night - coilovers, brakes, transmission, engine, loom, radiator, engine turned over.

    So proud =D

Massive thanks to Socrates, Rowan and that japanese genius guy that came on saturday night. LEGENDS.

  7. Hey SAU,

Killed an engine a while ago, and have my other engine sitting there waiting to be put in. Before I start ripping shit off, there's something I need to know.

The engine I have is a series 1 RB25det. The engine I'm replacing it with is an RB25det series 2. I need to use the loom I already have to wire the engine up.

Will I have any problems with variances in the engine wiring loom?

  8. Haha yeah I had the Matt black ke rolla were you see that? Oh and mr epps idrove past ur car today was in a drive way

I wanted to buy it AGES ago until I realised I probably wouldn't have found it all too comfortable being enormous.

    Saw it on DWA.

  9. email seller and organise a group buy why dont ya??

ps - now you all have weather shields - there goes my individuality =P

You'd need to be wearing unit/skin/jetpilot/aussie pride stickers all over your cefiro for you to lose your individuality.

That's if you could even buy the stickers without me raping you in the eyeballs for being a gayc*nt.

    But that won't happen. Sooooo....

    <3

  10. I can buy the key if you need cash. Then eps can buy it off me.

    I'm just that awesome.

Dori, you needing help brah? or just some motivation?

Rowan, they are mint and it's better than the $200 I was willing to pay on import monster for them. But him making over his cost is just f**king rude. Four Door Love obviously doesn't reach the eastern states.

  11. ecu and a tune,

and figure out why it cuts out all of a sudden wile driving down the road then whene you try start it it just cranks and doesnt fire, then once jumper leads thrown on it turns over and fires all of a sudden and runs fine and drive home grrrrrrrrr

plus all interior is out atm.

That sounds like airflow meter to me. My 25 did the EXACT same thing. Then I got it started, revved it and it just broke down all the way up the rev-band.

Take it to Australian Fuel Injection up the road from KYP on briggs st Number 90 from memory. I took my AFM there, they pulled it apart and found faults. Got it back at the end of the day, set me back about 275 for their time, but worked like brand new and I highly recommend them.

  12. Stanbridges hobby centre in mount lawley have drifting EVERY sunday thereabouts out the back. THey have a sweet setup out there and you'll enjoy it quite a bit.

Hit up www.westernrcdrifters.net.au for more details.

they have a rule against nitro cars (because they're loud, smelly, heavy, obnoxious and all-round f**king GAY) so if you've got an electric setup, head down and have a blast.

I've got 3 or 4 drift RC cars. Been into RC for like best part of 12 years. I can think of a few of the guys there with sweet cars. One guy has an s/c crown and a mint-as old blue HR, another guy has an my05 rex on te37s as a fun daily, one guy used to have a widebody FC which he did himself, until he sold it (to another guy into RC drift). Few with 32s and 13s etc.

They're still nerds with excels though hey.

  13. It's frustrating seeing people complain about how far away NOR and SOR is/are from each other.

It's a cruise... why would you not enjoy the drive there if you're anticipating driving elsewhere with other cars?

  14. my ceffy is in a bit of a state to attend a cruise :) needs a little work atm.

On the list of stuff Nics A31 needs before it makes it to the cruise:

    Entire driveline bolted in.

Rear brakes and suspension swapped (full 5-stud conversion).

    Front brakes replaced.

    Engine wired up.

Oil filter and oil, gearbox drained and filled, coolant fill and bleed inc new thermostat in cleaned-up housing.

Brake and clutch filled and bled.

    Exhaust stud replaced.

Engine ancilleries to be bolted and tested.

    Fuel lines made and fitted.

    Car started.

Grease wiped off the quarter panels.

    Bonnet back on.

    Full tank of juice.

We're doing all of that friday night/saturday morning to saturday afternoon.

    What does yours need dude?
