Good Afternoon,
I've placed a deposit on and am due for delivery on Sunday afternoon of an R34 GT-T from a yard on parramatta road in homebush. Looks to be bog stock other than some rear end damage in the past. Nothing really noticeable but no badges at the back and poor finish on the driver's side 1/4. The dash reads 68k which is questionable but the interior looks to have been about that far and the guages stock. Has been here for four years and all the codes check out with nissan's files.

Since it is so stock I'd like to maintain the appearance but do exhaust, air filter and possibly computer (piggy back?) but as I'm new to these new cars thought I'd see what I can find around here... any suggestions? It is the neo 2.5L. I'd really appreciate any local tuning shop suggestions that you could offer - I'm in the eastern suburbs of sydney (coogee) and work in Sutherland. Also, I'd kinda like it to make that blow off sound but have no idea why other than my mate's r33 gtr does.
Please forgive my ignorance, this is my first car made after my birth (1976) and my other two cars are a '71 240Z Datsun and a '68 GT/CS Mustang - one of those Ford sales pitches with Carol Shelby putting fibreglass bits all over a stock 68 mustang and they called it a California Special - just coincidental that they have the same initials as Carrol I'm sure. The Datsun is stock and the mustang sports a HiPo V8 289 - great fun and heaps of noise but still slower than a stock GTT I reckon.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer or links to threads that might help my comprehension.
Scott
