  1. Ah sweet as bro, my apologies xD
  2. Dumbass' in NZ? Haha, in six years in WA I have seen more idiots on the road, more accidents, more prangs, more wrecks and cars dumped on the road than 19 years of living in NZ. Mind you, the Import seen is alot larger in NZ, so maybe it's a numbers game?
  3. Thanks for the replies guys. Now the issue is whether I try to find someone on Sauwa who has the skill and thirst or pay to get it done by pro people. Anyone know of anyone got the skill n thirst?
  4. Hey guys, come mid next year I'm looking to move back to NZ. Gonna be selling the R33 GTR and wanna do a few touch ups to tidy her up before I go. Already got a nice Cat-Back exhaust so thats done. The next problem is that I have some sun damage on the roof and the wing of the spoiler. If I go the Carbone Fibre Wrap route, to cover the sun damage, I was also going to cover the hood, and the boot itself, so it would flow and not look silly just being the roof n spoiler. I've inquired to a Graphics place, and was quoted $1100 to get it done. Seems pretty expensive so I got to thinkin about doing it myself, or maybe with some help if anyone on these forums has a big thirst for beer xD. My other option is to respray the roof/spoiler. I'm not entirely sure how much this is gonna cost, gonna make some phone calls soonish. Just wondering what peoples opinions are? The Carbon fibre would make the car stand out and look different, but not sure if people would think its wank factor. Wheres the respray is the safer option I think? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Regards Karl
  5. Hey guys sorry for the late replies, been afk from the net for a bit. I got my new kit and got most of it set up, aside from the splits. I did change the setup a lil bit.. Pioneer heady, cant remember which one.. 2 rca preouts, no bluetooth or anythin silly and front USB JL splits, the nice 75WRMS ones, they is hot JL amps, mono and two chan - shiny and a JL W3 sub - this thing KICKS. No rear speakers as the GTR boot is very very well shut off from the rest of the car, it allows more airflow. Though I haven't taken them out yet, been lazy, and the parcel shelf shakes, along with most everything else. So I know what I'm doing this weekend
  6. sweet as fullas, thanks for all the offers of help *eyeballs Han* can't wait to get it crankin
  7. Hey Kama, you drive a four door 33 with lots of green on it? And green alloys? If so I see ya at a cruise a while back Yeah bro, the more help the better, also, your living at High Wycombe is fair handy
  8. Sounds good bro, hit us up sometime with what time is best for you for sunday? Will have a few beers layin round for ya and sumthin to stuff in ya belly. Can chuck some cash next week as well. (thinkin might take more than one afternoon)
  9. Hey guys. Just got myself a sound system, JL splits sub amps and pioneer heady, and would like to install it myself. With some help from a mate. Who knows what they are doing I live in the Forrestfield area, though I can travel. Will supply drinks and feed on the day/s of install and will pay cash for your expertise. 0433190501 or sling me a PM. Unfortunately I work pretty much every saturday so sundays will probably be the only day available to work in it, unless said audio guru also has strange work hours. Cheers guys Karl
  10. Haven't got a new battery yet. What would you recommend? Does the above equipment seem alright? Would you replace any of it with something else? Sorry for all the questions, I'd like to get it all hammered down before I got spend moneys. Regards Karl
  11. Yeah it is a JB kit, which doesn't neccesarily mean it sucks nuts:P The install is ahome job with a few mates, one of whom may know a thing or two about installs, think he does em for a living or summink
  12. Hey guys Been looking at sound systems, and was given a quote for the following, about $2900 all up, please, tear it apart, chew it up and if you feel like spew it back out, or the other way even.. Pioneer DEHP8100BT - Deck Kicker KS60.2 - Splits (it may be K560.2, depends on if his writing is sloppy or I may be blind) Kicker ZX200.2 - Two channel Amp JL W3 12" 500wrms in custom box - sub JL Slash 500wrms - Mono Amp Kicker 8 ga and 4ga wiring kits And last but not least, sound deadener for the doors. Please let me know if the system is decent, shite, amazing or if you would swap something in for another. Regards Karl
