iam anti ford/holden too common , uses too much fuel and hate gas cars. so i dont even look at those

yeah ive actually done most basic checks, have replaced the cas with a new one and checked for spark and its ther, fuel is flowing so am also leaning towards timing too, how do you check timing anyway , and also when you replace the cas does it have to at certain position?

hie guys wanted to ask my car is not starting , it just cranks and makes a poping sound, it has an check engine light on so iam suspecting coil pack failure, is this right, and also wanted to ask if there is a way to check if the coil packs are working coz coil packs a expensive especially when not positive that they are gone. any help thanks

1st ECU is R33 manual , MINES ECU , this a stage one ecu $ 150 Had this ecu on my my series 1 never had issues better air fuel ratios ive heard. 2nd ECU is a manual stock series 2 , this will work on series 1 engines. $ 80 *none of these ECU been opened still got warranty seals on em seals dont need these ecu`s willing to swap for any r33 body or engine parts just pm/text me what you got, iam also after a crank angle sensor( CAS ) 0449154860

R31Nismoid i understand and appreciate your comment but the reason why iam going for a budget setup is because iam doing what i can afford, the car is not for any track use at all, and i dont have any power figure targets in mind at all, the only reason iam doing the turbo is because iam trying to avoid a turbo failure and gain tiny bit of power with the few basic mods.therefore just needed to know what intercooler will serve the purpose with optimum perfomance

Am planing do few mods on my stock R33, Iam planning on doing the following mods,...1.high flow stock turbo 2.full turbo back exhaust 3.electronic boost controller,running on a mines ecu at less than 10 psi boost. so here is my question iam on a budget so would like to know which intercooler to go for, i have two options only either a cheap e bay intercooler or a stock r34 , my worry is which one would give best perfomance for the price.Iam also worried about turbo lag with the e bay one , not really sure, i think ive heard that big intercoolers on small setups causes turbo lag.. is this right ?

hie guys , iam looking for someone who might be able to test my ecu on their car, i have a mines ecu, from my manual turbo R 33 which iam suspecting might have failed. I am willing to pay.My car is cranking but not firing, all checks been done and strongly suspecting the ecu, therefore i need someone to help me test it to confirm. I am willing to pay may be $ 20 or more. I can bring the ecu to you. Please anyone i need help.Ecu is the one that came with the car, never been opened or tempered with.

hie guys, am just eliminating issues why my car mite not be starting and at the moment am trying to check if the ecu is working at all. when you turn the car on acc, the red light on the ecu comes up, but am not sure if that means its functional. therefore wanted to ask how can i test to see if its working.

can it be a the ignitor thats gone?? even though i got spark ? also were do i find the earth , just going through everything at the moment , replaced fuel pump, now got fuel flowing still not firing, any electrics that can cause car not to fire?

am disconnecting the horse that has the filter on it, is that right?

Guys any ideas please DVSR32R thank you very much for ongoing support, i have tried to crank the car with fuel outlet into a clear bottle, really weird but honestly therz no fuel coming out,so iam thinking may be fuel pump not having enough power to deliver fuel at sufficient pressure.therefore wanted to ask if its possible to check the voltage goin to the fuel pump by checking the voltage going to the fuel pump on its fuse? i know its also possible to do that on its relay , but relay terminals confuse me a bit..... am also queering injectors, any ideas how to check injectors for (power + flow) ? thanks everyone

checked the fuel filter def not blocked , its flowing well, the fuel filter is also less than 3months old.... i dont know most probably fuel pump not getting enough voltage it requires, is there anyone with an idea how much voltage/amps i should get on the multimeter for the fuel pump.

yeah fuel pump definitely working coz i took it out and tested it myself , yeah that's a good idea will check the fuel filter tomorrow,, any other ideas or mechanics / garages to take it please. I don't want to get the car towed to a garage where they wont be able to fix it, therefore would prefer garages that deal with imports, as we all know towing is nuesense
