Hey I was out driving the other night , and after turning off the car, when it was started again I noticed a strong ticking noise . If you have any info that would be good

sorry if the original post has come across wrong, but i was asking if it could be used to cool the engine not used as a fuel. When i mentioned f1's its purely because they dont have radiators and was thinking if this could be a substitute in any vehicle

i was just having a chat about f1's and racing and thought would it be possible to use liquid nitrogen to cool a engine with it having some sort of restrictive coating in the engine or some sort. So that it doesnt cool the metal enough to shatter. cam

Okay i bought a reo bar and i originally thought that i didn't have one until i ripped the bumper off, which infarct, since i got a bit confused with what it looked like. However im bringing it back to the guy and getting a replacement windshield of him as the crack on the windscreen is noticeable but its not actually cracked but i think there going to have an issue mainly due to the fact its a skyline. So i think after the windscreen installation i should have everything ready, im thankful for the help guys that you provide me. Yours Truly,

Alright the skyline doesnt have a reo bar, its pretty much just the inter cooler sitting there, now the problem i have is how do i get permits for that, considering i dont have paper work for who did the mods. I do have another skyline the same type but its bone stock, im not to keen on changing parts of putting the stock stuff back on including reo bar, ive decided that would be my last resort. If im going to get permits for the inter cooler, since the cars not really modified and i reckon everything else will pass except the inter cooler issue. Were would you guys recommend i go and roughly how much would set me back for the permits on the inter cooler.

Alright then, thanks for the info guys, Though im not particularly familiar with the term reo bar could someone tell me what it looks like. Could you as well tell me were is this inspection workshop you went to which is in Joondalup? Ive fixed the white smoke issue and now its fine, though do they check the structure of the car, so for example if there is hail damage on it do they care about that. As well on the windshield would they take much notice on a slight crack its not exactly a crack but its more like when you put a hot rag on a cold windshield and it sort of cracks it a bit, pretty much slight crack inside the glass but you cant feel the crack from the outside. If you sort of get what i mean.

Hi hows it going, im going to the pits soon i got a few questions. Could someone tell me what is the minimum tread limit that im allowed to pass the pits with? Next question is will the pits care if i have a muffler exhaust ooks like your standard 3" tip pretty much will they reject me even though the exhaust is pretty much standard Another question do they care much about the mods like front mount inter cooler, front and rear strut bar and a 3" pod filter. Its currently running stock boost so yeah. All of these modifications were professional installed, wanting to know if these will cause problems. Got one last one, do they care much if your car has a bit of white smoke coming out, im most likely going to fix this issue but if i dont in time will that be a problem. Yours Truly, Cam09

was just outside messing with the audio and had my car on idle, after about 2mintues it sounds like its breaking down but isnt dropping revs. You can also hear it more clearly when you have your ear on the pod filter. :s coils? cam

yeah it has a HKS mushroom pod filter.

Hey hows it going, i switched today to the manaul boost controoler, im going to go tomorrow to buy some copper ones, however i eliminated the black exahust smoke problem as it was running quite a bit high boost before. However i still tend to get a bit of a struggle around the 2.5k-3k mark when it comes to reving it as it will strugle to go past that so im guessing some sort of vaccum problem, however i looked at all the cables and intercooler piping and cant really find a leak. Does anyone have any suggestions were i should look else?

I thought i had to buy those iridium ones which cost roughly $120, if i can buy those normal ones then ill do that, thanks for the help.

Alright guys this is Moz09 however i have left the settings on my other computer which is out of use for now so using a mates account temporarily. Anyways i found the vacuum issue as it was down to my boost controller vacuum line as it wasn't the right size one and was leaking, so ive replaced that now. So this issue has been fixed, Ive as well done an oil and oil filter change. However i still have stall's when its idling and its running rich still and still has backfiring issues when running idle, like you can actually feel the backfiring when your sitting inside. Although I have thought about getting new spark plugs, but i don't want to chuck away money just yet, because i might not sure if new spark plugs will cause these stalls. I haven't replaced the automatic boost controller yet, as i think it could be down to the automatic boost controller as sometimes the car wont rev past 2.5k and my mate told me its called a leap mode, so im going to replace it this week with a manual one and see if it fixes it. However im still not 100% sure if it will fix the stalls, i am more interested in fixing the stalls currently rather then the car running rich and backfiring, however if you have any suggestions what could be the cause of the back firing and stalls as well it running rich. Im guessing maybe the running rich issue is down to the ecu as i know the stock one does run rich but would the backfiring be the cause as well or? I also have one more problem, sometimes when you actually let it warm up to like an operating temperature and you give it gas to about 4k, it will sometimes just shut off immediate would this be a cause of a another vacuum leak or misfire?

Hey hows it, going i got a 1996 Nissan Skyline and ive had a few vaccume issues, ive figured what was the cause it was the vaccum boost hoose off the stock blow off valve, i need to replace it with a new one. Could someone tell me whats the size of it and were could i find it. Yours truly,

haha yer my grammar isnt the best . but to sum it up: pulled out in front of a cop making them lock up pulled over got asked some questions drove away with no fine...

last night, i was on my way home from a dinner , came out of a T junction on to ocean reef road heading towards to sea, as i was pulling out a cop was screaming down the road for some unknown reason, and had to lock up his breaks. I then saw they had there lights on think oh crap im screwed, so i pulled over knowing they would anyway. They then came behind me and pulled up , got out and walked over , asked what happened and i told him, he checked my license and gave me a Breathalyzer, asked me a few more questions about is this my car and alike and said you can possibly loose your license for this being on your P's, and casually said il caution you for this make sure you take more time to look next time . I was pretty happy with the outcome, Im not sure if they were in the wrong speeding and thought they couldnt justify fining or penalizing me, didnt even look around the car trying to defect me . People make mistakes and he might have thought i got better things to fight then this . anyone had something similar?

Just put my safc in and I'm not sure if it because it hasn't been tuned but does anyone know why it won't let me rev over 2.5k rpm , checked all the wires and there in the right place and there all checking out to be any help is appreciated
