  1. very nice! Makes me wish I had 19s instead of the 18s. Also wish I had a coupe to fit those offsets. Next set will definately be 19s, just need to wait for the right set to pop up
  2. on a 34 GTR yes, on a GTT no way unless you flare or go widebody. Even then I doubt the 10" would go well on the fronts not to mention the exceptionally heavier steering.
  3. click on my sig - http://n15m0.blogspot.com Plenty of ideas there, be sure to click on the archived section as well Dished, non-dished, black, white, chrome all go well with a white 34. Budget for around 3K for a good 2nd hand jap set with decent tyres.
  4. take it to a panel beater or body shop and get a quote. As Stephen mentioned, I don't believe that section is fibreglass..infact I don't think any part of the body panels are fibreglass?
  5. goes to show, importing vs buying locally does not neccessarily mean savings. But you should be pretty happy still...35K with all those extras is probably still considered cheap! Hope to see you around Brissie sometime.
  6. What width and offset are the stock wheels by the way? Definately looks hot on the 350...wonder how they'd look on a V35?
  7. At least your wife wasn't playing the pokies for 2 hours while the kids were locked in the car
  8. Sold! All it takes is a bit of patience and the right person to come along that appreciates a bargain!
  9. Whereabouts in Brissie are you in? I'm on the Southside,Runcorn. That would be great maybe on the weekend or something. Maybe get Robbo05 (mark) to come along to so we can have a stain removal session lol.
  10. tried it today. Didn't really work that well for me. The stains are slightly less obvious but still very visible. Applied half a dozen times per window, used up approx 1/4 of a brand new tube of autosol. Maybe my stains are particularly tougher... Anyone else have success?
  11. mark, I've got a spare set oem from my R34 as I replaced mine with 8000k ones from 666DAN. I believe he still has some for sale. Send him a PM and if he doesn't have anymore I'll sell you mine.
  12. I'd rather they didn't to be honest. If nissan Aus did bring it in, it would probably be priced at 60k upwards which stretches most of our budgets nowadays. Bring on the grey imports I say!
  13. does anyone know who owns the dark blue 34 with nismo wheels 4dr???
  14. 6th gold bolt??? pics?
  15. Hi guys, Thought I'd create a separate thread rather than clutter the existing one. Didn't take many pics this year but as you can see I still have a soft spot for 34s Hope to see more pics and videos!
  16. Yea and I was 1 of only 2 V35s as well...disappointed but felt spesh at the same time All in all was a good day and good work to the exec team for pulling it off. But as another member has pointed out above and I think I speak for quite a few, it would definately be worth pushing this event forward a couple of months to avoid the extreme heat, maybe Sept or early Oct.
  17. My cars been detailed and garaged since Friday arvo...it better not rain Can't sleep too excited..missed the last two yrs.
  18. can you post pics of minor gutter rash? Thx
  19. Falkens cost me just over $300 for 265 in 18s. Do not get the pirellis in the 235/45/19 as it is way out and you will probably start scrubbing...Tyre starting with M...Michelin?
  20. 45 profile is for 18s, 19s you will have to step down to 40 or 35 depending on tyre width to keep the rolling diameter and speedo accurate. A few good tyres I recommend which I have used: 1. Falken FK452 2. Sumitomo HTR-ZIII 3. Federal SS595 They are decent tyres with a good combination of grip and wear without blowing the budget. If the above is still not within budget then ur next step down are your Nangkangs, Maxxis and Nexens. I normally use this calculator to work out tyre sizes. Stick in the factory specs eg: 225/45/18 and insert the possible tyre profiles in 19s which you are after. Rule of thumb is you should stay within 15mm of stock diameter.
  21. Not a 35, but white and black combo to sway you from silver My old 34 which I swapped for the white 300gt.
  22. I would probably try and knock around 3-4K off the asking price for the autoshop one depending how desperate they are, I'm pretty sure that one has been there for quite a while. And yes, the pearl white is pretty awesome in the sun and selection of rims to suit a white car is much easier too.
  23. If you don't mind a trip down south, check this one out if ur after a 300gt http://www.nagoyamotors.com.au/vdetail.asp?id=406 I got my blue one from Nagoya Motors. They have quite a few clean v35s and were very good to deal with. Prices are very competitive too.
