Game is an epic simulator, physics are much more real world even compared to forza2 - Which never let you roll the car or 'throw' weight around properly.
No R35 has really been a let down and im surprised there isnt any Radical's in the game either.

hey guys
had a quick read through this thread.
the r35 is truly a masterpiece of engineering, yes it's weight is against it but the new evo 10 is 1600kg too.
the main thing at this point in time with the car is knowledge or lack of!
my car broke as a result of around 150 plus launches hmmm. maybe a few too many? i call it destructive testing.
it also went into limp mode but only because i was seeing a missfire in the engine, they also seem to go into a limp mode ocassionally when everything becomes abit busy , it seems to get confused, in good time these issues will be sorted.
i have a real soft spot for the complete mechanical car that doesnt control too much but this car allows an awful lot and is just amazing when the pace is really on.
the devolpment on these cars will be fantastic to watch and be part of.

What are the biggest areas of wear in the R35?
I wonder how tight & precise the gearbox/drivetrain system will be after a year of hard track days

Considering it was won by the Whites in recent years with an R34 GTR N1, i think the R35 runners are in with a shot

Alonso strategy went out the window, why teh hell did they do the first 6 laps under safety car? The track didnt change at all anyway.
Must be pissed to start 2nd and end up 9th. Although he lost 2 or 3 spots from a late spin.
How unfair for webber.. Hes been at RBR for so long but not the one to get the win.
Great for Vettel, but ide like to see him get a win in the dry with a full field.
Hoping no more rain-races. I want to see what the new aero package for renault etc has gained.

As much class and standing that comes with owning a ferrari or porsche, they would have to feel small when their track days and traffic lights are accompanied with the odd R35

Alonso did time 7 tenths faster in q2 so shouldnt be too light. Hope the new-improved R29 without kers is more competitive.

f**king channel 'one', what a joke. Got all hyped up about being a sport channel, yet they dont play practice and have just as many commercials as channel 10.
Hoping for dry race, we need a few clean races to see where everyone is and give the teams some good info to work with.
Not suprised by lewis' disqualification. He has always been a dog. I think after he started dissing his world champion team mate after only 4 races in F1 it showed that clearly.
Alonso even leaked that he helped lewis massively preseason, then soon as race 1 came around, he wouldnt even shake his hand.
Notice he has no friends and his gf is that dumb girl from the pussycat dolls lol they suit each other perfectly

Delivery date for me is 11th April (Easter Saturday)
Possibly will be ready a day or two earlier but I will be unavailable and that friday is Good Friday.
The dealership has been kind enough to loan me a car for the 3 weeks between selling my 540 and the delivery of the GTR.

All the diffuser cars looks way more planted to the road and have much better drive out of corners. They will wear tyres faster..
I wonder where this is going to go? If its ruled illegal it will set all the teams using back alot. If its not illegal.. Then HOW the f**k did all the major teams not see it.
Especially Ferrari, they are always borderline with trying to push the rules.

I remember looking up ticket prices awhile back for Melb and there was an all access thing for $3500, it included pit lane and even a special section above the pits to watch the race i think.
Would be worth it if you had the money and werent going by yourself!

Well he said it himself, and his antics at monaco show just how rattled he was.
Alonso had driveshaft failure in 06 that at the time made it almost impossible to win the season too. Or the penalty for 'obstructing' massa that was total bs.

Somehow, given the media and way F1 is.. I dont think what happened with alonso and mclaren has been properly recieved by the public.
He was given a gag order and said recently he will tell all when he eventually releases a book.
Personally i would have been pissed too. As if he wasnt promised alot and then no delivered, as we all know, he was world champion, with schumacher gone, and a rookie team mate.
Ron would have promised him alot. But its in the past, it will be interesting to hear the real story without media interferance.
It would be nice if a few different people got wins this year, it brings alot of confidence.

I think he is the most talented in modern F1, the only person to ever stop Schumacher.
Granted he has some emotional/attitude issues. But who wouldnt, he could of had 4 titles by now if it wasnt for a certain disrespectful teammate.
I think BMW will be good this year too, apparantly they started development months before some of the other teams.
But then again, the skill and adaptive ability of the drivers is whats going to bring results. Especially considering how different the cars are.
Thats why i think fernando is going to be very good. I remember reading many years ago in F1 mag that the journalist couldnt believe how nando could just kick a football around the factory while the team did work, then jump in the car, smash 50 laps all within tenths of each other, then go back to kicking the ball around like it was nothing.
His insane form and consistancy is what got him from a tester to driver. In Schumachers book, micheal predicted alonso would be the one to beat him.. Simply from watching alonso in testing!
Whoever wins this year, i think its going to be one of the greatest seasons ever in F1. Or, if reliability shows its head, one of the worst.
Either way, we are in for a good show.. 6 days to go
- And on the honda times.. Its much easier to setup a car to be very fast on single laps than it is to be moderately fast for the entire race. If the honda really is fast, has anyone got a list of the laptimes from everyone of the 100+ laps they did?
Big teams often dont give away their sheer pace, computers will help them to tell how much faster they can go.
Should have made a poll to see who thinks will win the title this year, would make it interesting at the end to see how accurate we were.

Well this just soured my day even more.
Grey import is looking extremely viable now, my only concern is being left completely in the dark if something breaks and having a $100,000+ car sitting around doing nothing while i try to source a new gearbox or whatever.
Not to mention im guessing resale value of grey import will be shit, if you even can sell it.
I expected the servicing etc to be expensive because nissan is one of the car companies that doesnt make any profit on the car (hence its so cheap). But getting ripped off everytime i need something done by the local bogan dickhead is going to drive me crazy.
Maybe ill just settle for a 370Z daily driver and get a 34GTR for the track, will end up alot cheaper than an ADM R35!

Polititians are too old, how the f*ck do they have any idea what life is like now. When they got into parliment in their mid twenties and ever since have lived a sheltered and high paying life.

Also, dont take the honda times AT ALL people. Flavio said recently that testing has 2 purposes.. For the established teams its an opportunity to test parts and confirm reliability. For new teams and unstable teams (honda) its the best way for them to get to the top of the sheets in their effort to gain sponsorship. The times mean nothing.
And 100 million over 10 years? Kimi and Alonso were on 40-50 million for one year in 07.. Infact i remember reading something that said when Lewis first signed contract to join mclaren.. It was only for 300,000 UK pounds when alonso was on 40 Million USD!
